This old stone town house has been newly renovated. There are three large double bedrooms each with en suite shower rooms, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area and lovely private terraces front and back. Parking is directly in front of the house.We are two minutes walk from the centre of the village where you will find; three bakeries, two butchers, two banks, a chemist, a post office, grocery shops, supermarket, boutiques, cafe/bars, restaurants, tourist office, park and tennis courts.Barjac is in the very north of the Gard, on the cusp of the Cévennes, between the Cèze and Ardèche rivers.There are plenty of tracks leading into the countryside from the village that are excellent for cycling and walking.This area boasts vineyards, lavender and sunflower fields, olive groves and fruit orchards.There are numerous outdoor activities including; canoeing/kayaking, swimming, canyoning, horse-riding, climbing, cycling, caving and pot-holing...In

There is a lovely big public outdoor swimming pool in Méjannes Le Clap which is 18 km away.All amenities are within a few minutes walk and there is a market every Friday morning selling local produce.The Brocante, an international Antique Fair, is held here twice a year at Easter and mid-August.This area is famous for the Ardéche Gorge where you can swim, canoe, kayak, rock climb and cycle. The newly opened centre for the Grotte de Chauvet caves containing some of the earliest known paintings is approximately 15km away. The spectacular Aven d'Orgnac caves are 10 minutes drive away as well as the new Grotte de la Salamandre caves near Méjannes Le Clap.Indy Park, a tree climbing adventure park is just five minutes drive.Visit the silk worm museum at the Chateau des Roure, 8 km away and learn about the production of lavender oil at St. Remèze.Barjac is a great base to go on day trips to visit the Arenas of Nimes and Arles and the Popes' Palace in Avignon.

Our property is located in the picturesque medieval village of Barjac. Situated in the very north of the Gard department between the Cèze and Ardèche rivers. Surrounded by fields of smiling sunflowers, hazy lavender fields and olive groves.

We are surrounded by vineyards, lavender and sunflower fields, olive groves and fruit orchards.

There are numerous outdoor activities including; canoeing/kayaking, swimming, canyoning, horse-riding, climbing, cycling, caving and pot-holing...

Barjac is a great base to go on day trips to visit the Arenas of Nimes and Arles and the Popes' Palace in Avignon.
