Description from owner

Description

This property, the original cider press, has been most sympathetically and imaginatively converted to provide charming accommodation for two.

The ground floor is open plan and features an original cider press, a galley-style kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave oven, Shaker-style breakfast bar and a comfortable seating area. There is a shower room with basin and WC on the ground floor and the original Cider Press is used as a feature in the open tred staircase which leads you up to the mezzanine level with double bed, sofa and clothes hanging space.

There is an i-pod docking station, TV with DVD (no aerial so this is just for watching DVDs on), BBQ, bikes for your use and outdoor seating (this is communal).

The property is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has views from the front over the surrounding apple orchards. We have a large landscaped garden to the rear of the property which sits in undulating farmland. The Cider Press is one of three buildings which make up the property (The others are The Barn ref. 141993 and The Farm House ref 141994). Each can be rented separately or together.

We are happy to let for long weekends and for well behaved pets to stay too!

Please note: The property has been designed with a kitchette, rather than a full kitchen. The fridge is half size so we suggest guests shop daily.

Please see what previous guests have said about Boudet in our guest reviews.

Further details

We prefer to let from Saturday to Saturday but can be flexible for long weekends during off-peak times.

Further details indoors

The Cider Press has a breakfast bar, rather than dining table but there is outdoor seating for warmer weather. As the stairs are open tred, for safety reasons, we do not encourage guests with children to rent this building - it really is designed for couples or as an annexe to The Farmhouse and Barn.

Further details outdoors

Guest staying at The Cider Press have full access to both gardens, the outside dining area and the bicycles stored in the Bakehouse.

For those taking the whole property The Cider Press is a little haven away from the other buildings, providing privacy and tranquillity!
