Apartment / 3 bedrooms / sleeps 8
This apartment has three bedrooms, all with a living room itself. Two of these rooms overlook a beautiful Eixample's large courtyard, with its characteristic geometry. The third one, which has also bedroom and a separated living room, is inside the flat, but the top of its walls are all in glass to let enter sunlight. There's also a window for ventilation.
There are two bathrooms with shower and a large and cozy kitchen-dining room, fully equipped and furnished with taste and personality.
The apartment is located between Verdaguer subway station (L5 –blue- and L4 –yellow-) and Joanic station (L4), near to Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gracia and Diagonal, and 15 minutes by subway from the beaches. In addition, there is a bus stop of the Barcelona Bus Turístic (Barcelona's most popular way to get to know the city) just around the corner. Most of the touristic sites can be reached walking.

The Catalunia region
We love Catalonia and our capital, Barcelona, and we hope to have the occasion to share our enthousiasm when you come to Barcelona. Then we could meet you and, if you would agree, we could have a nice chat about this country having a glass of wine or a cup of coffe.
In any case, we recommend you to have a glance to these 2 websites:
See you soon!
A GREAT LOCATION. In Eixample district, you clearly appreciate the rational urban planning of Ithe architect Ildelfons Cerda, which identifies l'Eixample (and, somehow, Barcelona itself) and you see everywhere the amazing beauty of Catalan Modernism, because the bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century occupied that new neigborhood and built there their magnificent houses and mansions showing their status and strength.
As you know, this apartment is in the center of l'Eixample (Bailèn street runs parallel to Passeig de Gracia and is the prior street before Passeig de Sant Joan, one of the beautiful boulevards dividing the different parts of l'Eixample), but don't forget that is also alongside Gràcia, Barcelona`s Montmartre with its artistic and cultural vitality.
Gràcia was an independent town until the late 19th century and even now the community is small and tight. The people are exceedingly proud of their roots (they don't say they come from Barcelona, they say Gràcia). The area is popular with artists and a generally bohemian crowd, it also has a high ethnic population and the highest concentration of foreign restaurants in Barcelona. However, despite the trendy nature of Gràcia, it is also a very traditional district with a large elderly population which makes for an amusing and odd mix - and very entertaining people-watching!
Gràcia is also well-known for it's festival which is held for 5 days in August and sees the locals competing in street decoration (they take it very seriously!). The results are usually spectacular!
Pedestrian streets and squares to promenade, lots of tapas bars and restaurants, theaters, the famous Cine Verdi, el Teatre Lliure, and original clothes stores, bookstores, schools of art, creative writing, graphic design, dance, yoga, music, and organic food stores. and the traditional market with fresh fruits and vegetables, spicy olives, Mediterranean fish... just two streets ont your right.
