The Catalunia region
A day in Barcelona
On the Passeig de Gràcia, between Carrer Consell de Cent and Carrer Aragó, you'll find the Casa Lleó Morera, the Casa Amatller and the Casa Batlló, three gems of Catalan art-nouveau, or modernista, architecture, designed by Lluís Domènech i façade which is sure to remind you of the waves of the sea. Heading east from the Passeig de Gràcia Montaner, Josep Puig i Cadafalch and Antoni Gaudí, respectively. As you walk past it's like looking at an open-air modernista museum! A few blocks up, on the corner of Carrer Provença, stands the Casa Milà, the famous Pedrera, the Catalan for stone quarry, also designed by Gaudí, with its undulating you'll come to Gaudí's most representative work: the Sagrada Família.
The Sagrada Familia district gathers what is without a doubt Barcelona’s most emblematic monument: the Sagrada Familia Basilica. Its original and fascinating structure dominates this neighbourhood contiguous to the right Eixample.
The major artery of this district is Gaudí Avenue that links the Sagrada Familia with another primordial creation of the Catalonian modernism: the Sant Pau Hospital. There are a lot of different restaurants, bars and shops along this pedestrian street.
This nice residential area has great tourist and commercial assets and benefits from excellent public transports.

"so expensive for service and conditions"
I fail with this election: the apartment is correct in general but the building has poor conditions, and noises by the night. The location is so far for the city centre and it isn´t near for the sagrada familia church (four quarters), the photograph is wrong. The bathroom is very smart for five peoples.
thank you for your review. our client's opinion is important for us. We will do our best to improve the things you've stated. Our office is open everyday and our clients are welcomed to call us anytime for any questions they have before they book an apartment. We are hoping to see you again. Regards, barcelonaforrent staff

"Shameful service and inflated bill. Rent somewhere else!"
We are a well-traveled family and it is the first time that we deal with such horrendous service. We will definitely share our dreadful experience with friends and on the web to save other people from living the same holiday nightmare. • The staff was unfriendly, inefficient, unprofessional and misleading. First of all the tenant must collect the key from another address not from the flat address!!!!! of course you get to know this info after an hour of nervous time. Moreover, they did not respond to the phone because their employee put it on silent (this I knew when I have finally reached their head office). We lost 2 hours not knowing what to do as strangers in your country; should we search for another rent and lose the deposit??? Instead of getting an apology for the inconvenience I was forced to pay EUR 85 for cleaning or I will not get the key!! The flat does not open easily so that you may think it is not the correct key but it is stuck and need a strong push every time… they know it and did not fix nor inform the tenants. • the Kitchen is not complete, one small toilet is inadequate for 5 persons, after all We were given half a roll of toilet paper, small portion of shampoo for a family of 5 in 5 days/4nights. • finally, the cleaning team , showed up at 10 AM, knocking impatiently on our door while the Barcelona 4 rent office people ,who claimed to know nothing of our agreement with said Ramon, kept calling to urge us to leave the premises; All this, while we frantically tried to pack, clear the kitchen and get 3 children ready; My advice to all; • Beware of hidden costs! We were charged an extra 85 euros for cleaning + local tax • False claim! No view on "Sagrada familia", instead only one window to the neighbor’s air well (misleading description on website)
Dear Guest, The client must collect the keys at our office since there is where the check in and all the payment is held, however, different from the hotel you do not have to come back to do the check out! However, I must tell you that, that information is provided before doing the reservation! The direction of our office is attached to your reservation, and even though we feel very sorry that one of our colleagues put the phone on silence by mistake, all the information of where the check in is held is written down on you reservation (including the address of our office!!) The cleaning fee and tourist tax are mandatory and are also written down in the conditions before you do the reservation, so we feel bad that you did not read the information carefully and had a hard time noticing here in the office that you had to pay the cleaning and the tourist tax. According to the half a roll of toilet paper we are very sorry that happened since we always give enough toilet paper! You could have definitely contacted us for that incident!! BarcelonaForRentStaff
