The Hilltop Hideaway is a rustic retreat with gorgeous views and hot tub overlooking Banner Elk and Valle Crucis! Comfortable Cabin on 6 private acres sleeps 10+. Great for family & friends retreats. Incredible views from your own private mountaintop!

Just off the North Carolina scenic by-way, this mountain top cabin offers everything you’ll need for a one-of-a-kind vacation. Located at the top of Elk Ridge Mountain we're only 3 miles from historic Valle Crucis and 3.5 miles from 105 South in Banner Elk. This cabin has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathroom. (5 queen beds in the cabin); Great room with stone fireplace (wood burning), fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, satellite TV, CD, DVD; washer/dryer, private hot tub, covered decks front, back and with incredible views from all! .

Enjoy the views from the hot tub, hammock, picnic areas, front or back deck. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets, enjoy the outdoor campfire area or take in star gazing at its best (especially from the hot tub!). Truly an amazing mountain getaway! A million miles away from it all yet only minutes from, Valle Crucis, Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is plenty big for a large party, the location is private and the view is amazing! Definitely will go back.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Debra (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
