This beautiful beach house is the tropical dream. Just one step from the garden and you are on the quintessential tropical island beach and beautiful views over the sea directly from the living room.

Ideal for morning jogging along the beach or romantic beach walks at sunset. Or just the perfect place to recline on a sun lounger and read a good book while gazing out to sea.

Upon entering the house from the back, the hall leads directly to the open-plan living-dining-kitchen area, which in turn opens onto the small garden and the beach. The living room is comfortably furnished, with expansive views over the neighbouring islands, and boasts a flat-screen TV, Apple TV, Satellite TV channels, surround sound DVD speakers and Hi Speed Fibre Optic 20mb Wi-Fi Internet throughout.

The kitchen is equipped to western standards with oven, ceramic hob, allowing guests to cook to the sound of the waves!

Housekeeping and maids cleaning: change of bed linen and towels twice a week, depending on the requirements of guests. Additional housekeeping and cleaning services can be arranged according to guest requirements at an additional charge. There is also a washing machine in the rear store room for any misc washing they may need to be done.

The Surat Thani Province region

This beachfront house is perfectly located just off island's main ring road in the Bang Por area on the North coast of Koh Samui.

In addition to being right on Bang Por Beach, the house is just 5 minutes from the Four Seasons Resort, 10 minutes from Maenam Beach and just 15 minutes to the charming sea-view restaurants of Fisherman's Village.

You can be at 'home' within 20 minutes of arriving at Samui airport.

Several restaurants are within easy walking distance along the beach. Both local Thai seafood restaurants and western style bars. There is a small shop 20m from the house and a 24hr 7/11 500m down the road.

Bang Po Beach

Bang Por is a rising resort strip located along the northern shore of Koh Samui. It harbors a surprisingly international atmosphere, with a growing base of expats and international investors channeling their resources into this strip of white sand. With that in mind, the resorts of Bang Por are some of the finest in Koh Samui.

Bang Por receives plenty of publicity in Thailand thanks to its high-profile visitors and residents. A luxurious five-star resort on a northwest headland here is owned by Bill Gates, while the UK's all-star footballer David Beckham has a private residence in the area. The growing base of affluent locals has made way for high-end residents and up-market shopping boutiques in Bang Por.

Bang Por beach is sandy and sedate, and it features calm, tropical waters that are ideal for swimming year-round. Overall, Bang Por engenders a community atmosphere, and the upscale Thai restaurants, yoga schools and massage centers in the area mainly serve residents and seasonal visitors. The latter are based in seaside villas and serviced apartments.

The premier resort in Bang Por caters for the jet set, with beautifully appointed rooms, exclusive services and a secluded white-sand beach. To the east, hotel rooms are more typically priced for Thailand, with a few mid-ranged options available. Nightlife is confined to the hotels in Bang Por, with little commercialism outside. Visitors looking for a healthy dose of shopping, dancing or drinking will be better served on the east coast in Chaweng or a neighboring district.

“Ideal Stay for Young Family”

This is a great little vacation rental. We stayed here for 3.5 weeks in November and really enjoyed it. We travelled with our 3 year old son and the owner supplied us with a (huge) spare mattress for him to sleep on. The house is small but perfectly formed - definitely spacious enough for a couple with a few kids. Half of the living is indoors - the bathroom, bedroom and lounge area, while the other half is outdoors - kitchen and more living space. This is great for indoor/outdoor living and exactly what you want for a beach holiday. Great amenities too - super fast wifi plus Apple TV & Netflix which we used often. Cleaners came through the house twice weekly. The house is literally right on the beach with just a few steps down to the sand. This can be gated off easily for small children though. The grassy area at the front was also great for little ones. There's an outdoor shower too so you don't traipse sand through the house after swimming at the beach. The view out to Koh Phangan across the water is really lovely. The house is on a main road but well gated off and felt very safe with a small child. A car is advantageous when staying at Bang Por if you want to explore the rest of Samui. (The owner can help you rent one.) It's about 15-20 mins drive to Tesco at Chaweng, 10 minutes to Mae Nam or 15 minutes to Bo Phut/Fisherman's Village. The beach itself is great. Shallow, warm and calm water - perfect for little kids. It's practically deserted and has a real "locals only" feel. There are plenty of great (and cheap) restaurants within walking distance. We really liked Mickey Mickey which had good Thai and Western food as well as a kids play area and lots of toys. Highly recommend this place for a short beach vacation or for an extended stay for people who work remotely, want to write, etc.

The beach house is ideally located for those wanting a relaxing holiday with peace and quiet. Access to the beach is possible from the property and several days I spent snorkelling and kayaking. It's situated in an excellent location with several restaurants just a short walk along the beach. A very pleasant stay
