The village has a useful grocery shop, a restaurant and pub. Inside, the cottage it is simply but comfortably furnished with a wood-burning stove in the sitting room and Wi-Fi and storage heaters in each room. As well as access to boats and fishing there are many walks on the banks of the Loch giving wonderful, panoramic views over the islands and up into the Scottish Highlands. As well as the many outdoor pursuits available there are numerous other potential activities for all ages from regular ceilidh dances in Drymen, visits to Glengoyne Whiskey Distillery, and high-wire forest adventures in Aberfoyle, (we suggest not all on the same day, nor in that order). The Loch Lomond National Park, with
