This 5 star self catering property is centrally located in the picturesque harbour village of Ballyvaughan, the heart of the world-famous Burren along the Wild Atlantic way. This beautiful, well maintained comfortable home with large garden is furnished to a high standard making it a superb choice for couples and families alike. It is ideally located in a quiet cul de sac and within a 2 minute walking distance of Ballyvaughan's cafes, restaurants, traditional pubs, convenience stores and craft shops. The property is located within a 5-minute walk to the picturesque seafront; whilst Bishops quarter beach is located approx. 2 km away, and Fanore Beach- a surfer's paradise, is located circa 5 miles away.

This spacious property accommodating up to 8 guests features:

two twin bedrooms (one en-suite with electric shower)

“Great base for visiting area's sights and close to local amenities”

We stayed in Knocknagrough House for a week in July with two teenagers and two younger children and we found it to be a perfect base for visiting places of interest in Clare and Galway. It was spotlessly clean and the size of the bedrooms, along with the two ensuite bathrooms, helped keep the peace when all six of us were in the house together! One of the things we liked best about the house was the proximity to Ballyvaughan's shops and restaurants. It was great to be able to walk to buy milk or to have a meal in literally less than five minutes. All in all, we were delighted with Knocknagrough House and would recommend it to others. Extremely well-mantained house and property - clean and very comfortable. All the amenities of home in a setting of breathtaking scenery. Walking distance to several pubs and a grocery store. My wife and two adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone considering a holiday on the west coast of Ireland, as many attractions are within easy driving distance.

Knocknagrough House in Ballyvaughan is a lovely cottage in a village setting within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is well equipped and furnished for a comfortable stay of up to 8 guests. There is ample space and the inclusion of laundry is a helpful amenity. There also is a hearth in the lounge for cozy peat fires when the season is a bit chilly. There is ample off-street parking. Ballyvaughan, located on the coast off Galway Bay, is convenient to attractions in Ireland's west and southwest. Our host and the villagers helped make the stay a great experience. The location was great for a first trip by Yanks to Ireland.
