“Charming!”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2017

The cottage was perfect and we had everything we need for 2 adults and 2 children. It was best located to visit all attractions between Glens of Antrim and Londonderry.

“Lovely cottage in quiet surroundings.”

Reviewed 30 Sep 2013

This cottage was perfect for a family of four to stay for a week. In a quiet spot about 5-10 minutes drive from Bushmills and within easy reach of all the North coast of NI has to offer. It had all the amenities you need. Only slight issue was that the bed in the main bedroom was very soft so if you have any problems with a soft bed you might want to check with the owners if they have replaced the mattress since August 2013. I found the owners to be very friendly both before we booked via e-mail, answering all our questions, and when we arrived. Scones on the table on the day of arrival a very nice touch. The rate for the week was also very reasonable and as long as you have a car the location means you have total peace and quiet but can explore the Causeway coast with ease. If you are lucky enough to get the weather then it is a wonderful holiday. The beaches between Portstewart and the Causeway are out of this world.

“Lovely, comfortable, easy access cottage”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2012

John and Helen were friendly, helpful and welcoming. They had everything we needed to have tea and scones. The cottage had everything we wanted and felt private and cosy. the location provided easy access to all of the local attractions, of which there are many. A lovely place that We would love to retun to.

“cottage in good location for giants causeway”

Reviewed 15 Jun 2011

nice little cottage, very handy for giants causeway and bushmills distillery. The sofa and chairs were old fashioned and not designed for lounging in. TV was small portable, which is fine as long as you dont watch the tv so much on holiday. Wood burning stove was nice, and gave out loads of heat!

“Excellent cottage in a peaceful location”

Reviewed 7 Jun 2011

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Garden Cottage; it was well equipped, comfortable and accommodated 4 people adequately. The rural location was quiet and pleasant without being spectacular. The detached cottage stands 50 metres plus away from the main house with adjacent gravelled parking. You have to walk around the house (on a gravel pathway) to reach the door so it so it's not easy for buggies or wheelchairs. Access to the north coastline, including Giant's Causeway was easy and the Glens of Antrim were also within driving range (and well worth visiting). Tesco in Ballymoney was only 10 minutes drive away and there were smaller shops within 5 minutes drive. The owners were very friendly and a good source of local information. We would be happy to return there.
