“Ideal for families”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2015

We selected this holiday cottage so that we could bring our two adult sons and our cocker spaniels. The cottage was spacious with a large kitchen and even larger utility/wet room - ideal for storing gear and drying dogs after a morning walk on the beach. Only two minutes to the beach, convenient shop and a quite location. We would definitely stay here again.

“Peaceful, short walk to beach comfortable cottage”

Great location to visit costal road super small supermarket with everything you need, Our dog loved this cottage and her evening swims in the sea which was a stones throw from the house. We enjoyed the quietness of the area which we could relax half way house served excellent food , better choice than Ballygally castle hotel which was nice to have an evening drink in. Overall a great location stress free environment which we would return to Jean and Gary knapton

“A lovely holiday in a lovely house”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2014

As a local lad; I was familiar with the area so knew Anchorage was perfect for our holiday base, and we wern't disappointed. Only yards from the beach and, just as important, the nearest source of Mauds ice cream meant the kids were happy. We also had our dog with us, and she thoroughly enjoyed the daily opportunities to race across the sand. Anchorage gave us exactly what we wanted, a home from home for our holiday week.
