Our magnificent Victorian house combines the character and charm of period features with comfortable accommodation for a large group. Just 600yds from the beach in the pretty seaside town of Ballycastle which is right at the heart of the stunning Causeway coast.

Cushleake House has been awarded a 4 star grading from the tourist board. It has 3 sitting rooms, one with open fire and plenty of seating - ideal for mixed age family groups. Two of the double bedrooms have ensuite shower/wc, one of these is on the ground floor making it suitable for limited mobility access.

Recently refurbished the luxury kitchen is well equipped to cater for a large number and includes a dining area with ample seating for 12. French doors from the kitchen lead out to the large enclosed garden. Facing south west it is perfect for outdoor eating with BBQ and patio furniture provided.

Off street parking for up to 3 cars.

Welcome pack essentials such as soap and toilet roll supplied.

Cushleake House is the ideal base for a large family get together. The house is child-friendly with cot, high chair and stairgate provided. There is a children's play park across the road and tennis courts in walking distance. We also offer the unique service of a gourmet chef to cook a celebration meal for a special birthday or anniversary.

For larger groups we can offer our one bedroom cottage next door as additional accommodation - (see property number 7458145)

The accommodation is ideal for golfing, walking, cycling, angling and climbing groups.

“Spacious, comfortable and centrally located house”

The house was lovely, there was plenty of room for our 2 families (11 people), the house had everything we could need and was in a great location. The sports fields and playground across the road were great, and the beach was lovely and really close. Phoebe was a great host, and the locals were really friendly and helpful, would highly recommend! Brilliant holiday !

“Fabulous weekend with 9 friends for a celebratory party”

What a fabulous house. Multiple bedrooms with ensuite bathroom to three of them. Fabulous Kitchen with large dinning table to accommodate 12 people. We stayed in February and the house was very warm. There were open fires possible in two of the sitting rooms - which added to the warmth. 10 minutes walk from the beach. We had a local chef (recommended by the owner of Cushleake house) to cater a light meal for us on Friday night and a celebratory meal for us p the Saturday night. She was fabulous and came up with multiple menu ideas to fit with our 1950's film theme. She also catered for gluten free and offered options to fit with all food preferences. We had such a lovely weekend. would thoroughly recommend.

“Best holiday yet!”

My friend, Annabel, and I live half a world apart so our one week sharing a house together with our diverse children and friends is really important to us. Cushleake House was just perfect: lovely, spacious, ensuite double rooms for the adults and a brilliant family bath and shower room with everlasting hot water! The teenagers were happy to veg in the TV room while the younger ones could play cards in the other downstairs room or at the kitchen table. Actually, the kitchen was gorgeous - all new, plenty of crockery and cutlery and we had dinner for 10 3 days running without a problem! The table extends and is next to the patio doors so you can go outside for drinks or up onto the little terraced area. The great big fridge coped with all our food and drink and it was really handy chucking in a load of washing in the morning and not having to remember to do and get it later: nice and quiet but in the kitchen! All in all, a great house and we're really pleased we've got it for next year
