The building is steeped in history dating back to the early 1800's with many historic features. It retains its' unique character and is split across four levels.
The whole house has been renovated and modernised to a high standard, making it a very comfortable home with a renewed lighting and dual heating system.
The rooms are all very generously sized and comfortable and the large lounge has a working fire-place.
The solid oak kitchen is well equipped and it has a country style stove. There are also also modern cooking facilities with large tables in the dining area (seating 10 in comfort) and also in the kitchen (seating 8).
The utility/laundry room including toilet etc. is well equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and pulley drying rack. This opens unto the patio, BBQ, outdoor furniture, boiler house and gardens.
The bedrooms are large and comfortable with blackout blinds newly fitted to ensure a good night's sleep.
The large master bedroom has an ensuite with shower, toilet, bidet and wash hand basin.
There is a huge family bedroom on the top floor can sleep 5 or 6 comfortably. It has a double bed, a double sofa bed in a private snug, and an inflatable bed if required.
All bedrooms have extensive wardrobe and drawer space with bedside lights and blackout blinds ensuring a peaceful nights sleep.
There is plenty of office space and a small library of books.
The residence has it's own private entrance and there is also a side alley leading to the back door, patio, gardens and boiler house.
Although the house is situated on the main street it is remarkably private and rambles on and on backwards to the patio and the huge private gardens.
It is surrounded with high street shops, banks, coffee shops, restaurants to suit all tastes, bars with Irish music sessions ... all within a few minutes walking distance.
There is a free comprehensive Play-Park, Picnic area, Football, Gaelic, Hurling and Hockey pitches within 2 mins walking distance.
Ballycastle beach, marina, bowling green, Tennis Courts and 18 hole Golf Course and Rathlin Island Ferry Terminal, are all within 10 mins walking distance.

There is free street parking on the street overnight.
It is also free during shopping hours for a duration of 1 hour.
However there is a carpark just opposite (behind the buildings) ... with pedestrian crossing and an alley access.
This carpark is also free outside shopping hours (9.30 am - 5.30pm).
Secure and free parking is also available anytime ...at 21 Strandview Road .. with carport 5 mins walk ... can be useful over busy week-ends.
