This fabulous farmhouse that has been so sympathetically extended over the years has one of the finest views in Sussex. Set high on the Sussex High Weald there are views of over 30 miles along the South Downs. The accommodation will sleep 11 to 12 guests in six bedrooms. The feature bedroom is a stunning room with a super king sized bed and bathroom suite with those uninterrupted views. There are two king sized bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and a single bedroom. Additional bedding can be provided should the house need to accommodate 12 guests.

There is a large living room with open fireplace that is separated into two areas. There is also a second 'snug' living room. The property has a spacious farmhouse kitchen, a great social space. Outside there is a fantastic outdoor pool which offers commanding views to the south west.

Sussex is in the south east of England stretching along the English Channel from Rye in the east to Chichester Harbour and Emsworth in the west with many fine blue flag beaches in between.

The chalk downland of the South Downs National Park cover a large part of Sussex from where they meet the sea at Beachy Head in East Sussex through to the Hampshire border near South Harting in the west.

Chichester is the cathedral city of Sussex and Brighton and Hove on the Sussex coast is considered to be one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe. Arundel and Lewes are two historic towns within the county both have imposing castles and are popular towns to visit.

The climate enjoyed in Sussex is above the average for Great Britain, which makes it ideal for visiting throughout the year.

Balcombe

The house is only a couple of miles from the Ashdown Forest and sits in a wonderful elevated position. The Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park Gardens are nearby as well as Wakehurst Place and Standen. To the north is the market town of East Grinstead. The house is in a great position to take in what this part of Sussex as to offer, travel further and Lewes, Glyndebourne are a realistic half hour away and to the south east Eastbourne and the South Downs at Beachy Head are very accessible.
