If you're looking for a charming and magical place to spend your holiday, this charming, 2 bedroom (semi detached) summer house in Balchik on the beautiful Northern Bulgarian coast is an ideal holiday let – and it's only 10 minutes walk to the sea!

The nearest airport is 45 minutes away in Varna and I can arrange for you to be picked up and taken to the house.

This holiday let is affordable, honest self catering accommodation with everything you need in a private, quaint, holiday home away from the crowds!

• The house sleeps 4 people and two children, comprising of two double bedrooms, Plus a Bulgarian style sofa bed in the upstairs sitting room (suitable for 2 small children).
• Two WC's and wetrooms
• Set out in three separate areas – 1.Ground floor studio with kitchenette . 2.Groundfloor extension with bedroom and wc & wetroom. 3.Upstairs bedroom and lounge/bedroom (with sea views).
• All parts of the house have their own independent external doors, a real plus for privacy and a bonus if folk want to go in and out at different times!
• A beautiful large summer kitchen with bar area.
• BBQ area and enclosed private garden.
The house is fully equipped with:

• Stereo and CD's and musical instruments!
• Sorry no TV or internet

It's an ideal holiday let for those discerning tourists wanting a quiet holiday away from the masses.
Dogs are welcome (responsible owners only please).
There is private parking on the driveway – will fit 2 cars.

The Northern Bulgarian coastline is breath taking and boasts incredible diverse habitats and associated wildlife. From the house you can walk along the coastal defense network of salt pans to the swamp lands of Albena. The walk is fringed by maritime woodlands along its entirety, mostly on steep undisturbed slopes. The salt pans extend 3.5 km with inlets of fresh water cascading down the hills. This diversity of habitats from marine, to salt pan to fresh water makes for an exciting walk. Dolphins are often seen, bird life is abundant with Golden Oreole, Squacco Heron, Stone Curlew, Avocet, Pelican, Stork and various raptor species to name a few. Breathtaking dragon and damsel fly species can be seen darting around streams and lizards, snakes, frogs and toads are common sights.

Villa Rousalka is an ideally positioned holiday let, it's located in Balchik , Bulgaria (25 minutes walk along the sea from the centre of town). Only 45 minutes away from varna airport.

Balchik is an ancient romantic Greek settlement, a peaceful seaside town away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resorts. The town has style and a lovely atmosphere, its streets steeped in history and art. It boasts wonderful coastal walks, rich wildlife and natural hot water and mud spa's close by.

Queen Marie's Palace (Queen Victoria's grand daughter) and the botanical gardens (2nd largest in Europe)are only 20 minutes walk away from the house. The Queen had such a love for this romantic and beautiful place that her heart now lies in the palace.

The palace also boasts a huge collection of historical artifacts. There is also wine tasting within the gardens.
There are lovely restaurants, tavernas and beach bars between the house and the main town which offer fantastic value for money with amazing sea views for free!
Balchik has an ample sized pale sandy beach which is safe for swimming and has a lifeguard and a few beach cafes.
The stunning larger beaches of Albena can be reached by a pretty coastal walk or a short drive.
You can eat out in style or grab a pizza from a cafe. Sip cocktails at sunset in a quiet comfy bar, or hit a beach front club if you like!

• Amazing wildlife – migration of raptors, storks, pelican and passerines. Huge variety of plants, invertebrates and breeding birds with golden Oriole nesting in maritime woodland next to the house
• Bus stop is less then 5 minute walk away
• There is a shop for groceries less then 5 minute walk away and two taverna's also less then 5 minute walk away
• Plentiful high quality, stylish restaurants and bars in Balchik town and newly opened Regina Maria luxury spa only 20 minutes walk away
• Golf courses close by
• Hospital and doctors surgery in Balchik town
• Dive centre operating out of the new Balchik marina
• Prices are still very cheap with a beer costing about 50p. A meal for two with a bottle of wine and coffee for about £15
• Varna airport and city are only 45 minutes drive from the house and transfers can be organised
