“Fantastic hosts, stunning views, excellent value for money”

Reviewed 25 Jun 2016

Highly recommended if peace and tranquility is what you are looking for. Wonderful generous hosts. Fantastic surrounding scenery and all amenities a couple of minutes away. Excellent holiday let for this money. I will certainly be making a return visit, as well as recommending to friends and family. Many thanks to Dewi and the Evans family Wayne

Thanks Wayne, we really apreciate your comment and glad that you were able to stay untill Friday.

“Spacious and clean and a great location”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2012

This is a lovely cottage and has a really open and homely feel about it, you just settle in instantly. The location was perfect for me, nice and rural and away from everything yet the village centre is just a 10 minute walk away with nice pubs and shops. The cottage is up a hill so when you look out you have some amazing views, the downside to this is that the walk back home is uphill but we walked that hill quite a few times with arms full of shopping and it was pretty easy going. The owner is lovely and gives you loads of tips to help you get the most out of your stay and in the cottage you have access to OS maps, leaflets for the watersports on the lake etc. It was our first time at Bala so this was really helpful for us. I would definitely stay again. Oh and there is plenty storage space for bikes and outdoor stuff on the ground floor of the cottage, which was helpful.

Thank you for your kind comments. Dewi
