Description from owner

Description

A recently modernised terrace cottage with all the mod cons that you should need to make your holiday special. We chose Daisy Cottage as it is such a peaceful location with a south facing seating area. The property is we feel a little gem hidden away in Bakewell but only two minutes walk to the centre. This cottage is ideal for exploring the Peak Park, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Monsal Trail, Buxton and beyond. If you don't feel like going anywhere you can always wonder round the Bakewell market on a Monday or the Farmers market on the last Saturday of each month and enjoy the numerous pubs and restaurants Bakewell has to offer.

The cottage has a sitting room which leads in to an open plan dining area and kitchen. As you go up the stairs you get a feeling of space due to the glass that has been used. The main bedroom on the first floor has a king size bed whilst the second bedroom has a choice of a king size bed or two single beds which are 2 foot 6 wide. The bathroom has a shower

The bathroom has a shower and a slipper bath and whilst you sit in the bath you have a great view of the Church.

Whilst outside there is as south facing seating area there is no actual garden.

There is also a choice of two parking spots depending on the size of your car and how good you are at reversing! The space for a small to medium car is opposite the cottage for a larger car we suggest the secure space which is about a 5-7 minute walk from the cottage. ( this is provided at no extra cost)

Location description from owner

The England region

Bakewell is an ideal location to explore what the Peak District has to offer. You have both Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall about a five minute drive away. The Monsal Trail is a great day out to hire a bicycle or walk and there is a Hassop Station if it all gets too much and you want a drink or an ice-cream. Living in Derbyshire I take all the walks for granted but there are loads and some ideas are left in the Cottage. If you like fly fishing let us know and we will try and help you. If you are interested in caves you have Blue John Cavern and Speedwell. If you want a ride in a cable car you can go to the Heights of Abraham. I hope this gives you a small in sight as to what Bakewell can offer you.

Bakewell

Bakewell is Market Town in the centre of the Peak Park and still has its traditional market on a Monday. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs to choose from. There is a park about a five minute walk which you can take a nice stroll along the river.
