“Lovely Tuscan countryside villa-esque apartment just outside of Florence”

Reviewed 3 Dec 2014

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Tuscany. The location is perfect, it is in a quiet neighborhood, Bagno a Ripoli, just outside of the city center of Florence. I enjoy staying in the center of Florence too, but this place offers a more peaceful retreat to relax before going into the city for the day. The land around the apartment is filled with olive trees and it feels like staying in a villa in the middle of the Tuscan countryside, while still being in a central location close to Florence. There is secure gated parking for cars and being outside of the city center, there is no traffic and it makes for a much easier drive to other parts of Tuscany. The apartment's terrace is wonderful in the mornings with views onto the property's gardens and the olive fields beyond. The bedroom and bathroom are both spacious and comfortable and it's so nice to be able to have a large living room to relax in and a full kitchen to cook in while traveling.

“Family Getaway”

Reviewed 1 Dec 2014

Traveled with my wife , 2 young children, and babysitter, wanted a laid back atmosphere and enough space for the kids to have there space and enjoy also. This was a perfect spot!! Nice view, comfortable, close to the city center and close to the Chianti hills, vineyards. The pricing was right and was well worth it. 100 percent would stay there again when we return to Florence.

“Quiet and beautiful location, but still close to the town of Florence”

Reviewed 25 Nov 2014

Beautiful grounds with olive, fig, and pomegranate trees. The balcony overlooking the grounds and surrounding area is a wonderful place for your morning espresso or evening aperitif. The house is large with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. A nice eat in kitchen with new dishwasher and oven on the off chance you want to prepare a meal instead of venturing out. The living room and dining room are large and comfortable. The location is wonderful as a home base... unpack once and go on day trips to the surrounding hill towns. It's only a 90 minute or 2 hour ride to Voltera, San Gimignano, and many others. It's really close to Florence proper; Il Duomo, Uffizi, and the Accademia Gallery to name just a few of the amazing sites. We loved our stay and would absolutely go back.
