Overlooking the Indre valley, Le Plessis-Lepage is a former rural property built mid 19th century. At 700 meters from the French Renaissance Chateau of Azay le Rideau, in a stone walled garden, Le Plessis-Lepage has a particularly quiet environment. Next to our home is the ‘square house’ where the two gites take place, each in ground floor and 1st floor: ‘Le Gite’ and ‘L’Atelier’. Both accommodations offer all the comfort for a pleasant and carefree vacation.

Our gites are ‘ready to live’: you have more than the most. The kitchen and bath linens are in place and the beds are made. You only have to bring food, drinks and your personal belongings. A supermarket and all the shops are available in range of 800 m. The vehicles are parked in the enclosed garden. Bicycles, motorcycles and classic cars are protected in a shelter.

L’Atelier offers on the ground floor an entrance hall, a large living-dining room, a small kitchen, a laundry, restrooms and the stairs leading upstairs. At the first floor, a bedroom with two single beds and its private shower room and another bedroom with a queen bed for two persons and its private bathroom. Children are welcome and we can provide baby gear. The shaded garden offers you deckchairs and an outdoor dining table and armchairs.

Le Plessis-Lepage has a particular architecture and enjoys a privileged location, ecological well in advance. We have restored the inside of the buildings over the years and welcome guests since 1984. We love the simplicity and usability. Our tastes are reflected in the facilities and furnishings as well in our home as in the gites. No false folk decoration, no concession to fleeting fashion.

We live on site and are happy to inform, give advice, and assist visitors while fully respecting their independence and tranquillity.

If Patrick et Dominique (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
