Description

This beautifully converted Loft Apartment is situated in the stunning seaside town of Ayr on Scotlands West Coast (less than one hr from Glasgow by train and road and minutes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport) and is the perfect place for your break in Ayrshire.

The Loft itself is a character filled top floor apartment with the original beams (circa 1900) and vaulted ceilings and provides all the modern amenities expected with a touch of luxury. It is very close to Ayr Town Centre and has amazing views over the River Ayr to the Carrick Hills in the distance - the perfect place for your break in Ayrshire.

There is a large welcoming hallway with cloakroom facilities and seating leading to all other rooms. The Lounge/Diner/Kitchen is a huge light and airy room - accessorised with muted tartan fabrics, with french doors opening to a juliette balcony - a beautiful modern room but steeped in character. In the Lounge space you will find a flat screen tv, games and lovely comfortable seating - the perfect place to chill after a day out. The dining area has a large oak dining table with Charles Eames style seating - the perfect place to share a bottle of wine, socialise in and catch up on the days activities while preparing food in the lovely kitchen with every modern convenience you could wish for!

There are two large bedrooms (available as superkings or singles) which have high quality bedlinen, blackout roman blinds and accessories in beautiful tartan fabrics. There is a luxury shower room with 1.7m shower tray, recessed lighting and an amazing rainfall shower - what a way to wake up in the morning! The apartment sleeps 4 very comfortably and has the perfect combination of character with modern convenience.

There is a lift to the apartment and an allocated parking space located next to the entrance. The beach and town centre with many cafes, bars and restaurants are within walking distance of the apartment as are the train stations at Ayr and Newton on Ayr. The Citadel Sports Centre sits directly across the river from the apartment and for the golfer there are close to fifty golf courses in Ayrshire including three Open Championship venues.

Rail Travel - there are 2 mainline train stations within 1 mile of the apartment - taking you to either Glasgow or to the South of Ayr. Bus/Coach - The apartment is within 500 metres of bus stops taking you either locally or an express bus to Glasgow. Air Travel - Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is only 10 minutes away by car and Glasgow Airport is only 40 mins away with Edinburgh being just over 1 hr distant.
