Our spacious, well furnished penthouse apartment has some of the best views in the very attractive Nissi Golden Sands complex, just minutes away from Nissi beach; arguably the best in Cyprus. You really don't need to hire a car; taxis and buses are frequent, but maybe a bicycle could be fun! You can even see the sea from the huge terrace and as you would expect, being on the top floor, you can also feel a real sense of privacy.
2017 is our seventh season welcoming our guests, many of whom have even returned for a second or third visit, to enjoy the many attractions and wonderful treasures Ayia Napa has to offer from our comfortable, clean and attractive penthouse apartment in this enviable location. Nissi beach is less than 500 metres away and there is easy access to all wedding venues. Our aim is to provide 100% guest satisfaction and we continue to be very proud of our excellent 5* rating on Trip Advisor. The interior and exterior of our spacious and airy penthouse is well equipped to help prepare you for enjoying a wonderfully relaxed holiday in a peaceful location. Guests can really have the best of both worlds here; being within reasonable walking distance to the night-life of the town, yet only a short five minute stroll to some of the best beaches in Cyprus. The captivating Nissi Beach attracts many visitors every year with its white sand and azure blue waters, with other equally sandy beaches, like Landra and Makronissos, close by.
Ideal for families with children, couples, or friends holidaying together there is plenty of space and plenty of facilities to accommodate four people comfortably. One large bedroom, with large en suite bathroom and shower, and two comfortable twin beds that can easily be moved to form a double. In the lounge two large three seater leather sofas are quickly and easily turned into two comfortable large single beds, with a separate WC and wash hand basin in a large cloakroom off the main living area.
There is a 32" flat screen TV with satellite with English channels and DVD player, which also plays music CDs. From April 2017, we are pleased to offer our guests free wifi and a complete internet TV package.
We are one of the very few apartments available which do not have timers on our air conditioning units, therefore ensuring uninterrupted slumber during those hot summer nights.
Basked in sunshine the terrace outside the lounge and bedroom is huge and provides guests with a real flavour of outdoor Cyprus living. It has four sun beds and comfy table and chairs, ideal for spending the whole day relaxing in the sun, or watching the wonderful Cypriot sunsets with a glass or two, before dining at one of the excellent restaurants nearby or 'at home'.
This large open plan apartment is air conditioned with a very well equipped kitchen and dining area.
We have tried to provide a comfortable, yet high quality living space where there are plenty of home comforts such as extra pillows, throws and cushions and good quality large bath sheets, where the quality is regularly maintained. The apartment is ideal for a completely relaxing holiday, whether lounging around the apartment and enjoying the communal and children's pool, using as a base for attending weddings at the nearby hotels, or simply exploring this lovely area of Cyprus.
Last but not least, our excellent management company is available 24/7. Through them we can arrange airport transfers for you, all at competitive prices and payable locally. Lynn, our manager, offers a 'meet and greet' service to our guests' soon after their arrival, making sure everything is as you would hope it to be, before leaving you to enjoy all of our facilities, and to explore this captivating area.
Mid-stay cleaning can be arranged together with hire of cot/high chair facilities, car seats and indeed any other requirements not already supplied in the apartment for an extra charge. Welcome packs containing basic essentials such as milk, tea, coffee etc can be provided at a small extra cost for all guests. Please ask for details. Our English speaking representative will call shortly after your arrival to greet you and can give you any further information you need including helpful details about the local area. If you arrive over the weekend this visit will be on the next working day.

The two sofa beds are sturdy and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom has a shower over the bath, a WC and wash hand basin plus a storage unit for towels, toiletries and cosmetics. Good quality towels are available for guests' use along with cotton bed linen for all beds and sofa beds plus pool towels too, to increase luggage space. The separate WC and wash hand basin is off the main living area and provides spacious good additional washing facilities when four people are sharing the apartment. The twin beds in the bedroom can be easily moved together to create a double bed. Coat hangers are supplied. The lounge area has a 32" LCD TV with satellite and DVD player. Please bring your own DVDs and CDs which you can also play on it. The air conditioning units also provide heating in winter.

Four sun loungers and four comfortable armchairs with cushions, a low table and parasol complete the furnishings for outside, from where the sun on the long hot Cypriot days can be enjoyed from morning until sunset. A locker for the cushions provides additional extra seating. Nissi Golden Sands was built in 2007 and is an attractive mix of two apartment blocks containing two bedroom and one bedroom apartments plus 6 penthouse apartments in each, and three and four bedroom detached villas most of which have private pools. Our apartment is accessed by lift and two staircases, with two disabled toilets on the ground floor near to the entrance. The communal pool and children's pool is for the sole use of guests at Nissi Golden Sands and is located only two minutes walk from the apartment - you can see it from the front door. The pool area has WCs changing rooms and showers. Access to the apartment is provided by a lift and stairs. Under cover parking is allocated under the apartment block, essential for keeping your rental car cool (should you decide to hire one).

“Great summer in Cyprus”

“Very relaxing holiday!”
We stayed at this apartment for 11 nights, across August and September this year. We had a really relaxing stay - the apartment had everything that you needed for a great holiday! The kitchen was very well stocked, although to be honest, we ate at so many great places that we didn't really use it as much as we had planned originally! Nissi beach is just a stones throw away - this is an absolutely stunning beach, with quiet and lively parts depending on what you're wanting at any given time. The centre of Ayia Napa is just a few mins drive, or taxi ride away, with loads of bars and fun things to do. We even walked there one night, which didn't take too long. The balcony was brilliant - it caught the sun from mid-morning, until sun down in the evening, and was a great place to sunbathe once the novelty of sand everywhere had worn off. Customer service was brilliant too - we had a slight problem with the water pressure during our stay (this is a problem across Cyprus) and after a call to the apartment manager, this was sorted out in no time, and didn't cause us any problems. Would definitely recommend. We would recommend hiring a car as it just makes it so easy to get around and do lots of things. “Luxurious apartment in a wonderful setting!”
Me and my friend stayed in this apartment late June, and how we wish we could of stayed for much, much longer! The apartment itself was stunning, in a quieter location to get away from the hustle and bustle but a close walk to both Nissi Beach and shops/ restaurants. Amazing balcony to soak up the sun and a cool calm feel to the inside when you fancy mellowing down. Overall our holiday was perfect and if you're looking for anywhere to stay in Ayia Napa here is definitely the place, lovely landlord who was brilliant to communicate to both in the process of booking and another lady whilst staying at the accommodation, generally one amazing holiday made even better by the perfect apartment A***

Just want to say how great the apartment was...it was very clean and spacious it was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. Loved the outside terrace, plenty of space and was very peaceful. Just back from Lisa apartment in cyprus, apartment very clean will a great size balcony that get the sun 10.30 until sunset, had a great time, booking made very easy with Lisa, close to many bar/ restaurant.Center of Ayia napa abt 25min stroll, beach 5min away, taxi there and back to protaras cost abt 33euros for another good night out, will book again

“Lovely place to relax and enjoy your holiday”
Lovely apartment! Totally equipped, comfortable and full of Lisa's carefull attention to her guests in every single detail! Lisa is every-minute-ready to help, understanding and kind owner. Curtains on the windows, carpet, white towels and everything made us feel like home. On our arrival there were already a lot of useful home things (soaps, washing powders and liquids, tea, coffe, sugar... etc) left by previous visitors and owners for future guests. Located in a nice silent place 2 km from center of Ayia Napa (30 minutes walk) and very close to one of the best Cyprus beaches - Nissi beach (5 minutes walk). I think, will be good for families and older travelers and for all who still want to have good sleep and good rest during their stay in every-night-clubbing Ayia Napa. Every afternoon an ice-cream machine arrives - a nice fun for kids :) We loved the apartment and enjoyed every evening on the terrace watching the sunsets. It is really a place to calm down, relax and enjoy your holiday!

Total relaxation from the minute we walked into this lovely apartment. Tastefully equipped, clean and comfortable, the huge balcony/terrace with loungers and chairs, sliding doors in both the lounge and bedroom all contributed to an immediate feeling of tranquillity. Everything was within easy walking distance but just far enough out of Ayia Napa for us to enjoy both peaceful and lively days/nights! It’s a short walk to the most fabulous Nissi beach that had everything we needed; several days were spent on a sun lounger, reading , iPod on, a few steps to beach bar and café for lovely Cypriot halloumi and hummus pitta, cold beer and frequent dips in the warm clear blue sea. Absolute heaven! Can’t wait for my next trip.

“Just chill and relax”
Enjoyed a wonderful holiday here in the complex the communal pool felt like a private pool.Nissi beach was well within walking distance so were all the local bars and restaurants.From start to finish the transition from booking to leaving was dealt with professionally Lisa ensured everything was in order and was always on the telephone to answer any questions.Would i reccomend this apartment most definitely excellent facilities large balcony and near enough to everything you would need to have a relaxing holiday.
Easy to book Lisa was so good and understanding she answered any of our concerns straight away. Transfers were arranged for us and everything went really smoothly. The apartment was really beautiful and clean. We were visited the following day by the management team who were really nice and arranged a wheelchair delivery for me as I could not walk due to a knee injury. The apartment is in such a good position shops and restaurants all within a short walking distance or wheelchair ride in my case. We had originally booked in the Nissi Beach hotel for a wedding but due to unforseen circumstances we had to cancel so this was quite a late booking but everything was great and although the hotel was nice I think we enjoyed the apartment better.will definately recommend
We stayed at Lisa's apartment for 17 nights in October and had our best holiday in ages. The apartment was spotless, very nicely furnished and had an enormous balcony with lovely comfortable chairs as well as sun loungers. The balcony was also very private. There is a good size communal pool and paddling pool at the back of the apartment and I was nearly always the only person using it. Even though the kitchen was well equipped we never used the oven as there were so many good quality and inexpensive bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. If you do want to cook there are loads of supermarkets nearby. Although Nissi beach is a 5 minute walk away we hired pushbikes and rode to nearby Ayia Thekla beach . This took about 15 minutes easy ride along a quiet and safe cycle track. This beach has toilets,a beach bar and loungers,pedalos etc for hire but is a lot quieter than Nissi beach. Ayia Napa is an easy 25 - 30 minute walk or 1 euro on the very frequent bus or 7 euro's in a taxi. We were last in Ayia Napa about 10 years ago and were surprised by how busy it still is in October. We were really glad that we chose to stay at Golden Sands instead , a lot more easygoing and peaceful than Ayia Napa. I don't normally write so much in a review but we were worried that 17 nights might be a bit too long somewhere we had never been before.Our only problem was that we wish could have stayed longer !
