Great location in the heart of Cairngorm National Park. Skiing, mountain, biking, hill walking, mountaineering and many activities are on our doorstep. Bus stop for ski area is 5 minutes walk.ROTHIEMURCHUS HIGHLAND EASTATE: www.rothiemurchus.net - A privatly run estate which provides an outstanding nature experience, and only a 5 minute drive from the house! On the estate there are also activities such as clay pigeon shooting and The TreeZone, a high-level adventure course and fishing. The property has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms are a good size and even the entrance hall is big which is very handy for a group struggling to take off their boots and jackets after a day in the hills. It is only a quarter of an hour walking from the railway station. The children loved it because there was space enough for them to chill out after being out with us all day (and because it has wi-fi!). The only minus point is that there needs to be clearer instructions about separation and collection of household refuse. Overall, we found it ideal family accommodation.
“Wonderful holiday bungalow”
2nd time we've stayed here. Great Location,only 5 minutes walk from centre of Aviemore. The Bungalow is very clean,tidy and well equipped. 3 large double bedrooms with comfy beds and plenty of storage.The walk in shower was super! Decent sized garden to relax in after busy days out.... Overall a great place to stay and very good value for money.We will definitely be back in the near future....
“Lovely little house great location”
We stayed here for 4 nights with our 10 month old twins and found the house to have everything we needed for our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the Main Street. Wifi connection was good and the place was warm and cosey. Will definitely be back
“Great stay, would definitely go back”
We stayed there from the 22nd to the 25th of May 2015, two adults and three children. Communication with the owner was fantastic as it was the care received from the housekeeper, who kept in touch all the time and offered help throughout. The bungalow had everything you need for your stay, with plenty of tea, coffee and even a packet of nice shortbread (my son's favourite), making us feel very welcome. The location is quiet but in the centre of townbwith easy access to every facilty. The area is gorgeous and we had a fantastic time made even better with the kindness received from Malcolm and Fiona. We would love going back and would highly recommend it to friends and family.
I stayed here with 4 friends for 3 days midweek and had a lovely time. House has everything you need and only 5 minutes walk to shops etc. very comfortable and cozy. We will return.
“Great accommodation in Aviemore”
This is the second time I have used this property as it meets the needs of our group well. It has a good sized kitchen and living area and 2 bathrooms which is ideal for busy mornings getting out early. It is also walking distance (10 mins) to the main shops and pubs if you want to go out. Would use again in the future.

Stayed here for a long weekend in March 2015. House was a good size for our party and very handy for the centre of Aviemore - within walking distance. Very comfortable stay and would happily recommend to others.
“Perfect home for a holiday in the Cairngorms”
Great property in a quiet location but near to the main shops and services of Aviemore. The bungalow is a good size and has all you would need for warm comfortable stay. Kitchen is well equipped and having two bathrooms was really useful. Garden ,although not used ,was a good size ( it was covered in snow). We were there for along weekend skiing, enjoyed plenty of snow and would love to return in the summer.

We found our stay to be a very positive experience and stress free on every level.The house was immaculately clean when we arrived and we found a number of basic provisions in place to make our stay easier. The house was well equipped & of a good size for our needs (2 adults, 7yr old & 18mth toddler) and there was plenty room for another 2 people. The property is situated in a quiet cul de sac which offers privacy and is only a short walk from the town centre.The kids enjoyed the garden which is of a good size and safe from traffic. We found the house to be very comfortable and it was obvious to us that it is well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. Overall, the house was a great base for our weeks activities and we would have no hesitation in booking there again for our next Aviemore trip. Thanks for a very pleasant stay..!!

Comfortable stay, everything you need for a trip away. Easy booking and great communications with the owner. Everything was clean and tidy and simple things like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were ready and waiting for you after a 6 hour drive. A nice touch.
