Small stone cottage (next to 200) on the delightful small island of Aughinish on the N. Clare coast in Galway Bay. The island has a rugged coastline and Martello tower and is connected to the mainland by a causeway. Situated in the Burren with its unique landscape, historic monuments, archaeological sites, rare flowers, caves and birdlife. Nearest beach 500m. Tracht Strand and nearest pub 3 miles. Kinvara for shops, pubs, restaurants and boat hire (6 miles). Linane’s Lobster Bar 10 miles. Fishing, Aillwee Caves in Ballyvaughan 12 miles. Ferry trips to Aran Islands. Private walled garden and courtyard with furniture.
