Because of its handy location (10 minutes from Auckland International Airport) our Bed and Breakfast is the perfect Port-O-Call and point of entry (and Exit) for business people and tourists visiting New Zealand.

The Harbour View Cottage has a romantic historical charm and stands alone in the rear of a quiet and sunny sub tropical garden. Centrally located, you can access Auckland Central Business District and Ferry Terminal as well as all major attractions (Vector Arena,City beaches, Eden Park, Mt Smart) within minutes by rail/bus on the doorstep.

You have total independence with a fully equipped kitchenette, lounge onto private veranda, bathroom with laundry facilities and mezzanine bedroom.

Our Guests can also take advantage of a private courtyard equipped with spa pool (small extra fee applies) as well as barbecue and garden furniture.

While Self service organic (or vegetarian) Breakfast is optional, we offer a range of "à la carte" home made meals on demand. Tea / espresso coffee is complimentary.

BUSINESS: For your convenience, the cottage also offers a work station with free wireless broadband and printing facility. A Multilingual Translation & Interpreting service is available on site.

Onehunga also provides a unique eclectic shopping experience and weekly night food market a minutes walk away. Your French & Kiwi hosts attention to detail will help you enjoying yourself and take full advantage of your time in Auckland.

SPA POOL: A state of the art salt water Hot Spring Spa Pool with back, neck and leg hydrotherapy massage is now available to our guests week days between the hours of 09:00 - 17:30 and 21:00 and 22:00. Other days and public holidays by arrangement only. Cash daily charge: $30.00/ up to 3 guests. Highly recommended after a long flight.

Depending on our availability and the weather, we will be happy to show you around the neighbourhood or drive you to the top of "One Tree Hill" which offers panoramic views over the Auckland region. We can also recommend some of the best restaurant and activities nearby.

Pets are welcome by arrangement only. Only 1 small dog is allowed at any one time. Owners must provide sleeping arrangement for their pets and are responsible for the animal behaviour as we have dog and cats on the property. Pets are not allowed on furniture and must not be left alone inside the premises. Pets must be clean and shampooed before entering the cottage.
Parties or gathering are ONLY allowed by previous arrangement. Extra charges may apply.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Geoff (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
