“A little piece of luxury in an idyllic spot”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2012

The cottage is located about 1.5 miles from the small village of Auchtermuchty and is accessed via a slightly bumpy road. Follow the owners guidelines about how to get there-not the Sat Nav as it took me on a even more bumpy road. This slightly out of the way location only adds to the whole experience of feeling like you're in the middle of no where, when you're only 15 mins from the M90. The cottage itself is stunning-really clean and luxurious. No phone signal at the cottage, but there is WiFi and a landline. Our phones worked fine down in the village so you could always drive down if desperate. Beds comfy and all amenities that you would require are provided. The indoor pool is great as is the hot tub, but even more fun was had in the games room with an exciting cupboard of board games, as well as a pool table and table tennis. Loved seeing my 85yr old dad (who popped over to visit) play table tennis with my 15yr old son.

“Best equipped cottage we have stayed in.”

The degree of cleanliness and amount of equipment in the cottage was amazing. The swimming pool, beautifully maintained, was a great asset. The location is ideal for exploring the county of Fife.
