You are visiting a new listing (February 2018) for a property which has earned multiple 5*reviews under a different host/manager on Tripadvisor since 2013. For 4 subsequent years the property owner, Marianne, has been the physical host, welcoming all visitors, assisting to make their stay a warm, comfortable and memorable experience. A privately owned building with 2 apartments and the owner’s home, built in 2005 offers visitors a cordial atmosphere as well as full privacy. The building is continuously being improved at the owner’s attentiveness. Please note, that in case of no vacancy or a request for an even larger accommodation, visitors are kindly asked to visit the owner's newest apartment of equal comfort in the same building.

Quality accommodation

The Penthouse is situated on the 4th and 5th floor. A comfortable accommodation is guaranteed as the first level of 190 sq.m offers a bright and spacious living room and patio with a long dining table and a wonderful view to the Acropolis, as well as a large, convenient, fully equipped kitchen. The privacy that is sought among members of a large group is also guaranteed as at the same level there are three bedrooms (2 larger ones, 1 smaller one) and 3 bathrooms while at the second level (95 sq.m) there is a large master bedroom and en suite bathroom with jacuzzi and shower as well as two spacious walking closets, plus a spacious open space area; this works nicely either as a lounge area to the master or as a sleeping area (5th bedroom) rather flexible in terms of beddings (1-4 persons), depending on the needs.

Access to the roof top terrace and pool, is through the second level. From the terrace the views to the Acropolis, the National Observatory, the Lycabettus Hill, a vast part of the city of Athens and the Saronic Gulf are spectacular. They are complemented by the beauty of the olive, orange and lemon trees and the bevy of chirping birds that have turned the terrace into their little oasis as well as visitors’ having a hard time to believe they are in the city centre and at a short walking distance from all major attractions, shops and the neighborhood’s cafes, bars and restaurants. The swimming pool feels like private as it is only shared with a select few guests from two more apartments. It is enjoyed throughout the year as it is heated and covered during the winter season. A unique add-on no other property offers in the historical center of Athens.


Parties, events, water games or any loud noise are NOT allowed in this property in order to have the quietness of the beautiful, residential neighborhood well preserved.

The open-air spaces and the pool are included in this property to offer guests some extra refreshing and relaxing time, not an area for amusement causing disturbance to other residences. Quiet hours prevail in Greece by law between 14:30-17:30 and 22:00-07:30 which all citizens need to respect. By booking this property guests are confirming that they are aware of the house rules and agree to respect them.

Getting around

A large choice of cafes, traditional taverns and restaurants as well as local shops offer visitors the option to spend time in the neighborhood if they please and acquire the inside knowledge of Athens! The apartment’s location is real close to the major attractions but outside the touristy mass or city noise so even the owner is still often taken by surprise from the calm it offers.

For a late check-in (after 09:00pm) a fee of 20 Euros is charged and added to the balance payment. Luggage may be stored till the check in or check out hour, upon request.
