Nestled in woodland, Woodhall Park House is part of a 17th Century, Grade ll Listed farmhouse. It is situated in the hamlet of Woodhall on a small livestock farm. The popular Dales village of Askrigg with its famous James Herriot connections is just 2 miles away. The spectacular Aysgarth falls are nearby and Hawes, the bustling market town renowned for its cheese is about 7 miles away. Enjoy stunning views and scenic walks right from the doorstep and facilities for pond fly fishing can be found on site at an extra charge
The living accommodation at Woodhall Park House includes a characterful lounge with exposed beams, feature fireplace, multi fuel stove and great entertainment facilities including Sky TV. The spacious dining kitchen is comprehensively equipped with a dishwasher, fridge / freezer, oven, hob and small appliances. The laundry facilities, an extra sink, iron and board can be found in the utility room. The first floor accommodation comprises of two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a modern bathroom with bath and separate shower. A further large double bedroom can be found on the second floor. Outside, there is an open shared garden area with picnic bench accessed over the gravelled parking area to the front of the property.
All beds are made up and towels are provided. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
The cottage is available throughout the year with short breaks welcome during off peak times.

Brymore ice cream parlour and Raydale Preserves are well worth a tasty visit! The weird and wonderful Forbidden Corner in Coverdale is a popular attraction with kids and adults alike! Discover the ruins of Fountains abbey, near Ripon and Jervaulx abbey. Big Sheep Little Cow, Bedale and Hazel Brow Farm, Swaledale are great farm visits too.

We are situated in the middle of Wensleydale, a beautiful valley in the Yorkshire dales.Surrounded by beautiful countryside, with excellent walks and activities from your doorstep! Aysgarth Falls, West burton waterfall and Bolton Castle are all lovely walks nearby. If you are looking for something a bit more demanding you can try the three peak challenge walking up Ingleborough, Whernside, Pen-y-ghent! The popular Dales village of Askrigg with its famous James Herriot connections is just 2 miles away. Askrigg has a very well stocked shop, tearoom with deli and 3 pubs that all serve food. The bustling market town of Hawes is about 7 miles away with the Wensleydale Creamery, well worth a visit. Watch cheese been made, try endless samples and buy gifts in the shop.
