Location description from owner

The England region

Blagdon is situated close to the border between Devon and Cornwall – so you can enjoy the natural landscapes of both areas as well as a wide variety of local attractions. There are wide sandy beaches and good surfing at Widemouth Bay, Bude, Westward Ho!, Northam and Saunton Sands. Enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor, or meander along our wonderful rivers – the Tamar, the Taw, the Torridge, and the Carey. Blagdon is also close to Roadford Reservoir and Tamar Lakes, both managed by the South West Lakes Trust. Here you will find a variety of activities, from dinghy sailing and windsurfing to kayacking. We are spoilt for choice when it comes to Angling - whether it's coarse, sea or fly fishing there are lots of places nearby. The area is criss-crossed by a network of cycle paths and there are lots of accessible pathways for those with less mobility.
