Description from owner

Description

Dove Chapel is a brand new conversion of a listed chapel, with amazing views and a peaceful, rural setting. The chapel combines modern design with original features from the Gospel Hall, as it used to be known. We've built a new extension for the sitting room, with large bifold doors looking out over the estuary. We're a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country, and the plentiful village pubs and attractions of the area.

Location description from owner

The England region

Ashford is a small village on a ridge overlooking the Taw Estuary.

The views change by the hour as the tides turn and the sun set is truly amazing to watch. We also have lambs in the adjacent field for much of the season.

Ashford

It's a quiet village with a large garden centre at the bottom of the hill where you can enjoy food and drink in the garden.

Dove Chapel is a 10-15 minute

Dove Chapel is a 10-15 minute drive from some beautiful beaches. We love Braunton Burrows for it's sand dunes, wrecked boat views and tranquility. There's also Saunton Sands and Woolacombe beach nearby - voted best beach in the country and 4th best beach in Europe on Trip Advisor.

House rules

We allow one, well-behaved dog by prior arrangement and at a cost of £30. We ask that dogs are not allowed on any furniture or beds, and never left alone at the house (unless in a cage/crate). Unfortunately, even the best behaved dogs can fret when left alone in an unfamiliar house, and this can leave us with damage to fix.
