The house stands in an elevated position with large private gardens of mature shrubs, trees and lawns. Mansefield House has uninterrupted views of Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps. Loch Lomond lies 2 miles to the East.

Mansefield House is situated in the picturesque village of Arrochar, at the quieter more peaceful end of the village.

Arrochar is an attractive West Highland village, with a post office, petrol station, and newspaper shop.

Arrochar Parish Church and the Arrochar Catholic Church welcome visitors to the village.

The Three Villages Hall and the Village Inn offer regular evening entertainment.

The pebbled beach on the shores of Loch long is accessible by steps from steps across the quiet road at the end of the garden. The Loch is tidal, and retreats far out at low tide revealing mussel beds.

Arrochar

Arrochar is an attractive West Highland village, with a well supplied village shop, post office, petrol station, and newspaper shop.

Situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, at the gateway to the Argyll Forest Park, and at the foot of the Arochar Alps, the area is rich with spectacular views and scenery.

The Village Inn, a great family friendly pub and restaurant serving good food and a wide variety of real ales and whiskies, is just 100 metres from the front door. Other excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity include The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, The George in Inveraray and The Inverbeg Inn on Loch Lomond.

Mansefield House is situated at the quieter end of the village of Arrochar, off the main road.

Attractive Luss on Loch Lomond 15 minutes drive away, Helensburgh, on the Clyde, 25 minutes, Loch Fyne 20 minutes, Inveraray 25 minutes, Oban 1 hour, Glasgow 45 minutes, Edinburgh 1.5 hours.

The Trossachs, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Oban and the Isles are all within touring distance.
