You are in one of the most beautiful places of Italy, in the Euganean Hills, which are now protected as a national park, in a strategic position, not so far from Venice, Verona, Vicenza and a few kilometres from Padua, quite close to the gem of the Euganean Hills, Arqu Petrarca, and close to medieval walled towns such as Monselice, Este and Montagnana, and spa-towns like Abano Terme and Montegrotto Terme.
The area offers a great deal to see and visit: villas, castles, churches, museums and architectural attractions, splendid views and places with old tastes and traditions.

ARQUA' PETRARCA, thanks to its favourable position is considered the gem of the Euganean Hill. It knows a fast growth under the Paduan noble family the Carraresi and the Venetian domination. Its name probably comes from Arquata montium, meaning ring of mountains.
