Description

The Coach House at Arnside has been totally refurbished, redecorated and restyle for 2019 in a comtemporary style to create a stunning holiday home. Our home is perfect for a family holiday or short break all year round as the beach, lakes and mountains are only a short distance away. Ideally located in the village of Arnside and only 150 metres from the beach you will experience outstanding views of the estuary and the Lakeland Peaks. Within the village you will find an array of shops including a Post Office, Hairdressers, Art Gallery, Beauty Salon, Convienence Stores and Cafes. After a day of sightseeing and activities the village pubs with gardens prove extremely popular with visitors to sit and relax with a drink and soak up the sunset and breathtaking views. Arnside is in a designated area of Outstanding Beauty and there are many walks around Arnside and Silverdale as well as the benefits of the Lake District on your doorstep.

Getting around

The M6 is extremely accessible and the Rail and Transport Links to Arnside are excellent. The surrounding area and its abundance of attractions will appeal to families, walkers, cyclists and couples. 2 private car parking spaces are available for guests. Whilst a car may be advantageous to explore the wider area, it is not essential.

Interaction with guest

Guests can self check in at anytime after 3pm on their date of arrival, so late arrivals are no problems. we would be delighted to assist guests plan their visit to the area as we know the area very well please ask if you need advice.

“Christmas in Arnside”

Just home from a lovely few days away with family at The Coach House. The accommodation has everything you could need and the welcome refreshments were a nice touch after a 5 hour drive. The owners had also gone to the extra trouble of providing Christmas tree and decorations. Accommodation overall was very good particularly the bathroom and bedrooms- however if there were any negatives it would be the lack of privacy at the front door, the sofas were not the most comfortable and the fire in the lounge was not working. The property had a very effective heating system so this was not a problem but would have made it feel cosier. Overall we were more than happy with our stay and Arnside itself is a very quaint area and a great base for exploring this beautiful part of the world.

Just returned from a fabulous weekend get-together with friends at The Coach House. It more than lived up to expectations, everywhere was immaculate and all our needs were catered for. Would highly recommend to all wishing to enjoy this beautiful area and would definitely re-visit.

My family and in-laws enjoyed our stay at the Coach House during the Easter break. Our stay was for four nights. The cottage is set up for a comfortable stay with all the modern features of the facilities and at the same time the welcoming feel every time you come home. Arnside itself is a great place, lots to see and enjoy and the food at the Albion was great. It is a really beautiful area and how we wished we were staying longer. The hosts are very professional and friendly at the same time with every communication with us. Great find and we hope we could stay again next time.

We stayed at the Coach House for 2 nights. It is ideally placed for Arnside and for easy access to the lakes. The standard of the house was exceptional, it having been recently refurbished. On arrival there was a selection of wine, juice, chocolates and milk, a lovely touch. The decor and facilities were very good. The booking and arrangements from Brian and Dianne were very efficient as was the very prompt return of security deposit. Top marks all round and very highly recommended.

The Coach House is without doubt one of the best holiday rentals we have ever stayed in! My husband and I decided at the last minute to look for somewhere to stay for our wedding anniversary. I jumped on the Owners Direct website and quickly came across this property. At first look at the images I thought 'wow' and then after reading into where it was situated (near the beach, a lovely village, a couple of lovely pubs, a stones throw away from the major Lake District places) it seemed like the perfect place for us! I emailed Brian and Diane to see if it was available and even though they were out with friends at the time they emailed me back very quickly and said they would be in touch once they arrived home. I liked this as it made me feel like they were really bothered about their customers! Sure enough, a few hours later I received an email with a quote etc. for The Coach House and we decided to go ahead and book and boy...we were not disappointed! Brian and Diane were extremely accommodating - especially on our day of arrival because it was throwing it down! This was very much appreciated as we didn't fancy wandering round in the rain! As well as a welcome pack (milk etc.) they also left us a bottle of bubbles, a box of chocolates and a lovely card for our anniversary - a nice little touch I thought! When we arrived, Brian met us and showed us around the property/explained how everything worked etc. He also told us about the local area and recommended restaurants which was really great as it meant you didn't have to worry about eating somewhere that was rubbish! The property itself absolutely blew us away....even though the photos on the website looked good, they do not do it justice! It is just beautiful....very bright and airy everywhere and some of the best furnishings and fixings I have ever seen in a holiday rental - this I feel made it feel very special! The Coach House was very well equipped and had everything you could possibly need to cook/serve whatever you wanted, again, all equipment/crockery was of a very high quality. The house itself is only a very short stroll down a little path to the beach and you can get to the local pubs/shops in a short 10 minute walk along the beach path. In the sunshine it's absolutely beautiful down there and the Albion pub has an amazingly placed sun terrace which overlooks the bay - it serves great food too! The village includes some lovely little shops, pubs and cafes and even has an art gallery (my favourite place)! All in all, this is an incredible place to stay and to say Brian and Diane have only just started out in the holiday rental market they are doing it miles better than a lot of people - and I think, before long, once people find out about this little gem it will be very difficult to get in there without booking a long way in advance! We wish them every success for the future as they deserve it - a lovely place that has every little touch you could hope for on a luxury break! Well worth every penny! :-)

Why can't I call Brian & Diane (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Brian & Diane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
