Description

Positano's Rifugio degli Dei B&B is a country residence situated in the heart of the Regional Park of the Lattari Mountains, which stretches along the entire length of the Amalfi Coast. A typically Mediterranean country house, immersed in peaceful woods, from the height of its mountainside position Rifugio degli Dei offers a superb view of Positano and the islets of Li Galli, Punta Campanella and Capri.

The original dwelling has only recently been transformed in three attractive holiday apartments. The tastefully furnished Poseidone, Dioniso and Afrodite all contain traditional architectural features such as vaulted ceilings, chestnut wood architraves and slaked plaster walls. Each apartment is comprised of bedroom, bathroom, living room with kitchenette, and sunny, sea view terrace.

During the long summer season, breakfast is served on Rifugio degli Dei's large panoramic terrace, an idyllic spot where to relax whilst admiring some of the most stunning views

“Beautiful location and accommodation but you need to be fit to climb the steps”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2016

The apartment was situated in a lovely location overlooking the sea. It was very spacious and maintained to a very high standard. The family who owned it were very welcoming and looked after us very well. The downside was that it was a 30 minute walk from Positano and it's shops and restaurants and it involved a climb of over 400 steps back to it every evening. When we left in the morning we didn't return until the end of the day which meant being very organised leaving everyday. Overall it was a lovely holiday and by the end we had become accustomed to the steps.
