Description

Why stay in an ordinary villa when you can stay in something extraordinary? Built using patented 'spray concrete' technology, this large, four-bedroom villa is a total 'one-off' enjoying spectacular mountain views extending to the coast.

The villa was completed late 2003 and is spacious and extremely well equipped. Outside there is a huge, covered, patio area with BBQ and plenty of shade from the usual heat. Inside the villa is fully air-conditioned with hot/cold air conditioning.

The property has ample parking for several cars and its own large pool. The villa is situated at the foot of a large hillside in its own plot of around 5000 sq.m.

The villa has generally large rooms with 4 bedrooms. The master suite has a large bathroom with side bedroom and large wrap around balcony. There is a huge covered patio area for dining or just sitting and gazing at the views over the mountains and down to the sea.

The views across the hills and Velez Malaga to the sea are truly amazing with eagles regularly hovering in the thermals.

Totally self-contained for a family holiday but plus easy access to the beautiful Spanish resort of Torre del Mar. Ten minutes down the road is Nerja with it's cosmopolitan charm, great shopping and world famous Burriana beach.

This area is full of unspoilt charm at great places - it is what Marbella used to be before commercialism ruined it.

Location description from owner

The Andalucia region

This is a beautiful unspoilt area of Spain where the Spanish come on holiday. Because of this there are few lads/ladettes having wild holidays, stag parties and the like. Most of the holidaymakers are older and with families.

Prices are much lower than Western Costa although there is still an amazing choice of bars and all types of Restaurants.

Arenas

The local resort is Torre del Mar which has all the facilities you would expect but is very Spanish and traditional. The Spanish tend to eat and drink till very late with the whole family. In high season Torre del Mar is packed with people eating, drinking and even shopping till the early hours.

Further down the Autovie is Nerja around 15-20 minutes away. This is a beautiful Spanish town with the award winning Burriana Beach plus a host of great shops and restaurants.

“Fantastic property in great location with stunning views”

Reviewed 26 Feb 2015

Great experience from first inquiry to return of the deposit. Excellent communication and local agent on hand to help with the silly questions. The villa itself is very well appointed and everything works. The pool with waterfall was an absolute treat and was well used. Big bedrooms (the master suite has to be experienced) with lovely lounge and outside living area. Having a BBQ close to the pool was great. We had a lovely time and intend returning soon. A trip or two to the beach and local town to see the attractions is a must, particularly after dark with great restaurants and events, markets etc. Highly recommended and the owner, Steve was great to deal with.

“3rd Time at Villa”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2015

This is a wonderful Villa for getting away from it all, on its own large plot with its own pool it was perfect for our 3 children to run around, explore and play. The large sheltered area outside was perfect for sheltering from the midday sun, reading a book or simply enjoying the view. The villa itself is huge and the rooms are very well furnished and gladly came with air con! The owner (Steve) is a pleasure to deal with and made sure that our stay was trouble free Highly recommended

“Fantastic Villa, great location with amazing views down to the sea.”

Reviewed 7 Feb 2015

The villa is situation a few miles outside Velez Malaga up the mountian towards Arenas, the directions were great and the Villa was easy to find. The villa is different to the other villa's that you see and looks amazing as you drive towards it. Once at the villa there is plenty of parking for several cars. The villa itself was very private and not overlooked by another villa, or anyone walking by, so if you like your privacy then the villa is in a great location. The views are amazing, looking out to other villas on the other side of the mountain, and then down the valley where you have great views of the sea. The villa itself had plenty of shaded areas to sit and relax with a large table and plenty of chairs to sit at and eat an evening meal, there is also a brick built BBQ which we used many times throughout our stay. The pool was lovely and clean, plenty of pool side sunbed chairs and plenty pf space to sunbath in the sun, there was also a little waterfall from the canopy which splashed into the pool which the kids loved. The villa itself has a large master room, with en suite and dressing room, and a balcony to sit at or admire the views. There were 3 other bedrooms all very well furnished, a downstairs bathroom and another toilet. The living area is very large, with plenty of seating a TV, WiFi and plenty of storage space, the kitchen had everything you would find in your own home. The furniture and decoration was a high standard and we were very well looked after. There was so much to do and see, the villa is ideally located for the local beeches, a short drive to Nerja, with the Costa Del Sol's only an hour away, Gibraltar is in easy reach which is a 2 hour drive. We would thoroughly recommend this villa, the location, the amenities were all first class and can't wait to go back.
