A beautifully renovated 1930's cottage South-facing on half acre, with panoramic views of the Knockmealdown mountains and 5 mins from the meandering river Suir.. All mod cons, including flat-screen T.V., solid fuel stove and central heating. Wheelchair-friendly.
30 mins drive from Ireland's South coast, within 20 mins drive from Rock of Cashel, Lismore, Cahir and Clonmel. Ideal for walking as Helen's cottage is located on the Munster way, cycling or a restful country holiday.
The Galty and Comeragh Mountain ranges are less than 20 mins drive.
Local Irish Trad music sessions and quality local food available, and a very big Irish welcome awaits you at Helen's Cottage.
Helen is a dog-lover, so your pet or 2 are very welcome. The garden is enclosed and very safe for children or dogs, with plenty of room to run around. Lovely garden furniture for your comfort to enjoy the beautiful scenery. A BBQ is available on request.
There are free logs for the woodstove.

Located in the heart of Ireland's Golden Vale, Helen's cottage in Middlequarter is South-facing with a panoramic view of the Knockmealdown Mountains only a stone's throw away. The cottage is ideally located for exploring either by foot or car, three mountain ranges, also only 20 mins drive from heritage towns Cashel, Lismore and Cahir.
Only 30 mins from Ireland's South coast, the area is breath-takingly scenic with a surprise around every corner.
Ideally located for touring South of Ireland.

Ardfinnan

The nearby village of Newcastle is a cultural hub, full of heritage and history. The area was a former Irish-speaking area, with a big revival of interest in all things cultural in the past 40 years. On the 3rd weekend of June every year, a cultural and heritage festival takes place, and attracts visitors with a broad range of interest i all things 'Irish.'
The area is abounding with traditional music and dance where visitors are invited to participate if they wish to .
The Mitchelstown caves, Lismore Castle, Cahir castle, the Rock of Cashel, these are just some of the interesting places so close to Helen's cottage in Middlequarter.
