Description

Seaside Rendezvous is an upper conversion of a traditional sandstone townhouse, offering spacious accommodation over two levels, with light and airy rooms complemented by neutral décor and period features. Both bedrooms have views over the North Sea.

The house is located in a quiet residential street just 5 minutes walk from Arbroath train station and the beach, and 10 minutes from the historic Abbey and harbour. An ideal base for golf at Carnoustie (7.5 miles), admiring the wonder of The Bell Rock lighthouse (11 miles by sea), visiting Captain Scott’s ‘Discovery’ (16 miles), or simply exploring the beaches, cliffs and coves of the Angus coastline.

Entering the main front door at ground floor level, there is a hallway leading to the rear of the building which has a small shared patio. On the first floor is a sitting room with feature fireplace and electric fire, 26-inch flat screen TV and DVD player. Also on the first floor are twin bedroom and dining kitchen with luxury fitted units having built-in oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and dishwasher.

On the top floor is a spacious double bedroom with dressing room/walk-in wardrobe off, and bathroom with shower, WC and wash hand basin. Flowing through the house is a large bright hallway with open staircases featuring traditional cast iron railings with hardwood banister/handrail.

Fresh bedlinen and towels are provided, and included in the rates quoted. No surcharges are levied for electricity which is also included.

Wifi internet access is provided.

A Z-bed is optionally available, which can increase the sleeping capacity to five.

Highchair and cot available on request.

“Great place for a break”

I stayed here on business rather than a holiday but had a great time nonetheless. The accommodation itself was spotless and was everything you could ask for was provided. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern and has everything you would have at home, again absolutely spotless. Great location too, loads of parking on nice wide street, near the sea and not far from lovely beaches. There is a park that has a good view of the annual fireworks show around a minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Arbroath, whether on holiday or business and would recommend it to anyone wanting a break, much cheaper than a B&B, brilliant facilities in a great location! The owners also thought of all the little things you are likely to forget to bring on a trip! Thanks Sean
