The village of Arboleas holds a local market every Saturday morning. You will also find bars, restaurants, 2 banks with cash point machines, post office, well stocked butchers and bakers and excellent supermarket. for your every day needs. A brand new bowling alley with pool tables etc, cafe serving good food at very good price 5 mins drive away.
The large town of Albox is nearby for shopping and also eating out. This is rural Spain, but with every convenience at hand

"This place really is a Paradiso for everyone looking for tranquility."
We stayed here for a week during our two week roundtrip through Andalusie and really came to a standstiil. So quit at night, so many stars and so many sunshine around the pool is the perfect combination with the rush of travelling from city to city. Also many attractions to visit in the near surrounding of the property e.g. markets, caves, beach, mountains, etc. Definately come back again!!!

"I want to go back, right now"
My friend and I had the best time in this house. The village was quiet and the only things that awoke us that first morning were birds singing. The beds were great and there was enough room to store away our luggage. We each had our own bathroom, which was quite luxurious. I can imagine that when you are with a larger group of people this comes in handy. The pool is too small to exercise in, but for just fun it has just the right size. We would spend the days on the comfortable couch and chairs outside and sometimes head in, where it would always be cool, to make something to eat or watch some TV if we would long for some shade. The internet connection was definitely a plus too: we didn’t have any troubles with it. The house itself, in short, was great and comfortable, but its surroundings are worth mentioning too. You stay in this quiet village where only a few families live (who are friendly, hospitable and English-speaking), but you are just a ten-minute drive away from Arboleas, where this great market takes place on Saturdays and where you can get your groceries. My friend and I even drove to Cordoba, which was a four-hour drive, but the scenery was so beautiful we didn’t even notice it was that long. Granada is somewhat closer (about two hours away) and is definitely worth visiting. Only be sure to get tickets for the Alhambra beforehand, because it’s very busy up there. If I were to give this place a star-rating, it would get five stars without a doubt. If you are looking for relaxation, want to get a taste of Spain or want a cultural and exciting holiday, this is definitely the place to go.
