Enjoy this spacious 4BR, 3 BA home near the peaceful lake in Apple River Canyon. Located in Galena country and Jo Daviess County.

Enjoy the large living areas indoor & out. Features 2 kitchen areas, 2 decks, rec. room & peaceful views. There are several options for local entertainment perfect for families or group of friends. Just some of the local options - beach, swimming pool, fishing, hunting or just a simple relaxation while taking in all nature has to offer. There's something for all!

This is truly a beautiful home with a lot of space to enjoy making memories with your family and friends. Some local activities to do are fishing, swimming pool, local beach, hunting, hiking trails, tennis/basketball courts, and much more. Apple Canyon Lake is a private lake so you're unable to use your own boat. Boat rental is available but bookings need to be arranged through me. The rental slots fill up fast so the sooner you let me know the better chance of getting a reservation. We are also located only 25 minutes from Galena and all it has to offer.

Relax in the spacious Living Room with large comfortable leather sectional, a 65" Smart TV with Netflix & Prime Video for free.

Master bed includes a brand new King bed, private bathroom and shower & walk-in closet.

Bedroom 2 has a brand new Queen size bed with beautiful views out to the large nature filled backyard.

Bedroom 3 offers a comfortable bunk bed with a brand new Full size mattress on the bottom and twin size on top. There is also a twin size futon perfect for relaxing and reading a book or for additional sleeping option.

Bedroom 4 has a brand new Queen size bed located in the large peaceful lower level with a walkout door to the backyard.

There is a brand new sleeper sofa located in the lower level along with a 50" Smart TV with Free Netflix and PrimeVideo.

The house has been furnished with all new and modern pieces. Equipped with new mattresses, pillows, linens, and towels. Plenty of fresh linens, towels will be provided.

Kitchen is stocked with all your basic needs such as silverware, dishes, coffee maker and a toaster.

If you plan to eat in during your stay, we suggest stopping at one of the grocery stores on your way. There is a Sullivans Foods located in Stockton IL. (20 minute drive)

Free WiFi is included and the TVs are Smart which offer Free Netflix, and Prime video.

If you're bringing small children, there is a portable pack n play, and high chair for your use, so you won't need to bring these if you need to save space with your travel gear.

As your hosts, we want you to know that our desire is that you, your family, and friends have as nice of an experience as possible while staying in our home. We pride ourselves on making it as clean and as comfortable we can. We want to make our place a "home away from home" for your vacation.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
