Location description from owner

The Paphos District

Aphrodite Hills lies on the South West Coast of Cyprus, 15km East of Paphos. The area is steeped in history and the 5* development lies alongside Aphrodites Rock. This region enjoys 330 days of sunshine per year with Winter temperatures rarely below 16's and Summer temperatures mostly in the 30's. Aphrodite Hills is THE premier leisure resort in Cyprus and has been used by the British Olympic team for training and acclimatisation and many Celebrity Golf and Tennis matches. Paphos is a delightful town and well worth a leisurely visit. The island mixes the charm of Greece with local tavernas and small charming villages with a touch of British influence: driving on the left, signposts in English and even M&S and Debenhams stores. Paphos is served by many airlines and is a four and a half hour flight from the UK. The landscape is very dramatic on Cyprus, enjoying citrus and olive groves on the lower land and then as you climb higher towards the Troodos it becomes fields of vineyards and pineforests.Greek is the main language however English is widely spoken.

Hire cars are readily available from Paphos/Larnaca airport as well as on the resort. If you do wish to move out of the villa and visit the surrounding areas then a car is essential, however there is a new bus service which picks up at Aphrodite Hills and goes to Paphos Harbour. “Fantastic villa”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2016

We had a truly wonderful holiday in Aphrodite Hills. The villa was brilliant and perfect for our family. It was spotless and well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The attention to detail was spot on and the owner was very helpful with all of our initial queries and gave suggestions and lots of info for car rentals and great days out. We spent 10 nights here and there was something for everyone for our family of four. The children enjoyed themselves in the pool from early in the morning and the temperature of the water being solar heated was perfect right into the evening. There is a kids club and soccer school in the nearby hotel which our children enjoyed for a few sessions and we had a few evenings being entertained at the hotel. Having a car ensured we were able to explore Paphos and the surrounding towns and driving was a breeze, quiet roads clear road signs and spectacular views. It was great to eat out in the nearby tavernas and sample some tasty Cypriot dishes. All in all, we would certainly recommend this villa and we intend to visit again soon.

Really pleased you enjoyed your stay.

“Great stay in a superb villa”

Reviewed 19 Oct 2015

Lovely, well equipped and maintained villa in a great location within Aphrodite Hills resort, which has lots of amenities on site. The villa was as described, spotlessly clean with a nicely decorated interior. The owner was very responsive to emails and any questions I had. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this superb villa and would definitely stay again next time I visit Cyprus.

“Fabulous yet again!!”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2015

Spent two weeks at number 25 again with my 15 year old son who was working at the golf club for his work experience. The villa is simply perfect in every way. Great location, outstanding gardens & views. The Villa is very well equipped & gives you a home from home feel. Spent most evenings sat around the pool enjoying its beautiful surroundings. I did however visit various villages in the area, Koulklia, Pissouri,& Mandria. Had some lovely food & really experienced the real Cyprus. Most defiantly highly recommend this Villa. Ashley & Kay were extremely attentive.

“An amazing villa, location & weather! Perfect holiday!”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2014

Wow, what a wonderful place to stay! Ashley's beautiful villa, with front seat views do the golf course, made our holiday one of one best we've had! The short walk to the village square is another great bonus, so we were not too hot by the time we reached the restaurants etc. The villa was immaculate inside and we had access to all the amenities we could want. Wifi worked great, air con worked great. The welcome package was a lovely touch and a great relief since we arrived at night time, so we didn't have to worry about rushing out for milk and breakfast in the morning (also a surprise bottle of bubble ;-) The owner kept in constant, helpful communication with us prior to the holiday; was very professional throughout and also very friendly, offering lots of advise about car hire and activities etc. We would highly recommend this villa and we will definitely want to return again soon!

“excellent !”

Reviewed 21 Aug 2014

this truly is a lovely holiday rental, it has all the essentials and more to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. it even has free wi-fi that actually works, very well !. it is decorated very nicely and has good working air con. the villa backs on to a superb looking golf course, i dont actually play golf but i was very tempted simply because it all just looked so nice, maybe next time. it is just a five minute stroll down to the square, where there are some nice restaurants with a good friendly atmosphere and some evening entertainments going on, there is even a beer garden !. the kids favorite place to eat, and mine actually was the Haagen-dazs cafe!. i have to say, all the staff at this resort are superb, very friendly and helpful. our two children aged 6 and 7 spent two half days at the kids club which they loved, very good set up with lots for them to do. there is also a very good play ground at the square for the kids. the only down side to this place, but i must stress dose not effect the quality of the villa is the fact that during august and a good part of july when the actually hotel is fully booked, unless you are staying at the hotel you are not allowed to use the hotels pools. our self's and others were asked to leave the pool area, they know who you are because the hotel guests all have the same towels. villa guest can buy passes to use the pools just not when the hotel is fully booked. i really thought this would spoil the holiday for us, as part of the reason we booked here was so we could have the best of both worlds, but actually we all had great fun at the villa pool and besides we went out most days anyway. the villa pool was a nice 31 degrees ! i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good holiday villa and resort. we will definitely be coming back. last but not least, we had great communication with Ashley, the owner from the very beginning until im sad to say the end. this put us at ease when booking, you cant go wrong with this place.

“Family Favourite”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2014

Aphrodite Hills has become a family favourite for us and this villa is perfectly situated within a short walking distance of the village centre. The outside space is very private with a great view over the first fairway of the golf course. The pool, whilst small, was more than sufficient for our growing kids and is perfect for younger ones, the heating taking the edge off the otherwise cold water in the early season. The villa itself is maintained to a high standard and has all the amenities you could need. Check out from the villa was anytime on the day of departure and given our late flight home this was great, allowing a full day before jetting back.

“All the home comforts you could wish for”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2014

This was our 8th visit to Aphrodite Hills but the first time we have stayed in this villa. Very happy with the accomodation, decorated in warm bright colours and all the comforts you could wish for. Greeted with a personalised welcome card and bottle of fizz which was a nice touch. Normally we tend to use apartments with a communal pool as I thought the private pools would be too small, however our kids (age 11 & 9) were more than happy jumping in and out of this pool and it was heated which was a bonus especially as we travelled in April. Would definately recommend this Villa and we would look to go back in the near future.

“Beautifully appointed, modern villa with excellent facilities.”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2013

This was our second time booking through property manager Ashely Chattaway and again, our booking and confirmation stages were faultless. I never felt wary or concerned about the validity of our booking as there just isn't any need to. This was our first time at No 25 Hesitades Greens but have stayed at 2 other villas in Hestiades Greens previously... And by far, this is the most hotel-like standard of all we have visited. The decor is to a high standard, modern and bright and the villa facilities and utensils are second to none (I think I have less equipment in my own kitchen!). The garden and pool area are pristine and all of the storage areas are very tidy and labelled. It made it so easy to find everything we needed and to keep it tidy whilst we were there. If you were to take a walk along the gold course path and compare villas, No 25 just has the extra effort put into it's appearance... even the small things like extra trees, and painted mailbox are noticeable! We even noticed that after our mid-week clean, the ornaments adorning the fence surrounded the pool had been dusted!! Of course, one of the reasons we like to stay at Hesitades Greens is the sheer convenience of being so close to the village square and golf course - it truly is within walking distance. Plus we also prefer the view out over the lush green Golf Course as opposed to the plateau views. The bedroom areas are exactly what you need and although the second bedroom downstairs isn't en suite, it does have a shower cubicle as opposed to the shower over the bath of the main bedroom upstairs (which we found easier for quick showers with our little one). There is also a great range of info within the villa to help you investigate the local area, as well as DVD's, books, puzzles etc. I would happily recommend this villa as one of the best... if not THE best along Hesitades Greens.

“A Home from Home”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2013

This is a well maintained and homely villa which we found to be much more plush than the typical holiday rental. Attention to the small details make a lot of difference. Wifi and internet TV very popular with the children ! The outside space has a wonderful view of the golf course whilst remaining private. The rattan furniture is again of a higher standard than you would normaly expect. This property is perfectly located within Aphrodite Hills, just a short walk to the village square. We would highly recommend a stay in this villa.

“Relaxing Holiday in Cyprus Sunshine”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2013

Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The villa is well equipped with excellent high standard facilities. The pool is solar heated and treated twice a week. In addition to the pool area there is also a balcony area overlooking the golf course with a couple of sunbeds and table. There was plenty of space in the villa for two adults and teenage children, and additional z bed was also provided The villa is located within easy walking distance to the village square where there are several restaurants and supermarket. The onsite amenities are however more expensive than those in nearby villages of Pissouri and Kouklia. A car is recommended to explore, Paphos Limasol, the mountains and nearby beaches and villages. The booking process was easy and straight forward, all queries were answered quickly by Ashley the owner. We wouldnt hesitate to go back again, highly recommend 25 Hestiades Green.
