Bedroom 2 a twin or large double with spacious adjacent shower room / WC
Bedroom 3 a twin or large single or daybedroom / study again with adjacent shower room / WC

The fantastic views, the huge living space and the luxurious furnishings make this property a truly exceptional home from home.

There is a large American-style fridge freezer with ice dispenser, plus lots of storage around the property meaning longer stays can be comfortably accommodated

Facilities such as a gym and sauna plus tennis, golf and horse riding are all available within the resort, about 5 minutes walk from the Penthouse (horse riding a short drive - around 10 minutes).

Bicycles can be hired from a local firm in Kouklia and there are wonderful trails around the area, with plenty of hills giving you the opportunity to test those muscles!

Further details outdoors

The Penthouse looks over a range of landscaped gardens and there are play areas in the resort centre, less than 10 minutes walk away, with climbing frames, zipwires etc.. We have happily allowed our two young daughters to walk or scoot unaccompanied from the Penthouse to the play area, much to their delight. They return via the ice cream shop with big smiles!

There is a kids' club / creche available at an hourly rate which have delighted several guests.

There is a large shop, Costa Coffee and several restaurants all a few minutes walk away from the Penthouse plus Segway hire, bike hire and new for 2013 4 seater pedal car hire now available.

This "villa in the sky" is a great option for families with young children as all verandas are well fenced and the whole property is on one level, plus you have two beautiful pools each with paddling and swimming areas a few moments walk away. Plus the resort centre with all its facilities is an easy stroll for even our youngest guests.

Winter guests will love our private hot tub which is a delight all year round both in daytime and under the stars at night. The Penthouse affords stunning views of the night sky, a real "Arabian Nights" experience. We even watched the International Space station fly overhead from the tub one night!

The 5* hotel on the resort also has a heated indoor / outdoor pool which can be used by guests on a day rate during the winter months. That in combination with our private hot tub can be a better option in winter than renting a villa with a heated pool which realistically will be chilly between November and April.

There are two private parking spaces adjacent to the property and a security team constantly monitor the resort so it is all very safe and secure.

Location description from owner

The Paphos District

(There are plenty of photos of things to do in the region plus glimpses of the stunning scenery nearby on our Facebook page - - or look up Aphrodite Hills Penthouse - and when you find us please give us a "Like" in order to keep up with our latest offerings:-)

From Aphrodite Hills it is easy to explore Paphos and all of Western coastal Cyprus. Alternatively you can head East towards Pissouri and Limmasol or North into the Troodos Mountains for a complete change of scene.

Aphrodite Hills itself offers plenty to do and explore as does the adjacent coastline.

There are some great walking trails both on this stretch of coast and in the hills and ravines around the resort.

There's also a good, friendly mountain bike rental company in the nearby village of Kouklia which delivers quality bikes and safety equipment to the resort, fully serviced and ready for all terrains.

Aphrodite's Rock, one of Cyprus' most revered and iconic sights, is a 5 minute drive away in a wide bay perfect for swimming.

If you fancy a bit of off-road adventure, take a jeep safari over the beautiful Akamas Peninsula National Park to the beautiful sands of Lara Bay, home to a turtle sanctuary.

You could also visit the small town of Polis, with its blue flag beaches, and nearby Latchi, where you can stop for lunch or an evening meze in one of the picturesque restaurants around the old fishing port and maybe take a boat trip or try some water sports while you are there.

Cyprus' cultural heritage is nearby including several of the most important archaeological sites in the region such as Tombs of the Kings in Paphos, dating from 3CBC, and the Roman villa with stunning mosaics at the House of Dionysus in Kato Paphos near the harbour which also boasts a castle and a museum with Byzantine relics.
The current archaeological sites are being slowly excavated as it is believed that there are still many treasures yet to be discovered.

Check out our Facebook page for examples of sightseeing opportunities around the area - we have some lovely photo albums on there.

If you simply follow the coast road there is a large modern supermarket in Pissouri, only 10 minutes away. The Resort shop in the Village Centre is well stocked with self catering food, drink and other essentials and is useful should you not rent a car or simply wish to stay local. The Intercontinental hotel also has a shop selling reasonably priced sunglasses and souvenirs.

As you head towards Kato Paphos from the motorway you will even find a Debenhams with a food hall! It also has a café overlooking a pretty fountain.

There is a lively covered market in Paphos Old Town, which itself is worth wandering around. A good spot for lunch whilst looking down the hillside towards Kato Paphos and the sea.

There are often art exhibitions around the area where you can find lovely original paintings and prints in a variety of styles, some of which you will see in our property.

Finally if you really want a retail fix you can head to MyMall in Limassol which offers a range of fashion and food outlets.

“Stunning Apartment - great for families!”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2015

We stayed here for a week in August with our 1 year old son, a teenager and our extended family. The apartment is beautifully equipped, with fantastic views out to the front of the sea. The hot tub is a great addition for the evening. Location wise it is perfect for a walk to the village square for shopping/food, but also only 1 minute walk from a very family friendly pool. This allows your family to do be based at the apartment but do their individual thing. Will definately be heading back!

“Apartment with superb views from balcony terraces in all directions”

Reviewed 18 May 2015

This is one of those "must do" apartments if you get the chance, better than a villa. It has an excellent large open plan kitchen, dining and living area, with multiple balcony terraces to use depending on the time of day, or what you are doing. Conveniently located from Paphos Airport and well positioned for exploring other parts of Cyprus. It is light and airy, with fabulous a South Westerly views of the Mediterranean Sea. The resort village is close by with a good selection of sport, restaurant and shopping facilities. Another "must do" is the Sunday Buffet at the Golf Clubhouse, with a scrumptious range of food and drink available with lovely vies across the course. Only five minutes to our favourite beach at Aphrodite Rocks too..!

“Fabulous holiday!”

Reviewed 15 Aug 2014

We had a wonderful family holiday with our 4 year old and teenager. The apartment was superb - clean, spacious and very well equipped. The complex was excellent, so it was great to spend time relaxing there but it was also very well situated for exploring other parts of the Island. Amanda and Peter were great to deal with always offering helpful information and advice. We all hope to return sometime! Very highly recommended!

“Villa in the sky”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2013

The penthouse is maintained to a high standard. The living area is very spacious, light with treble patio door access to the balcony, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning looking out to the blue sea. My husband enjoyed watching the sunset in the hottub on the balcony off the master bedroom. Would recommend to friends and family.

Reviewed 20 Sep 2013

Spent 2 weeks with our children aged 15 and 13 in this fantastic penthouse apartment. The accomodation was superb - 4 balconies, hot-tub, great bedrooms and plenty of space not to mention everything you could think of for a self-catering facility. Aphrodite Hills is a very special place - restaurants, bars, fantastic Spa, gym, tennis academy - you name it and its there !! We will definitely return to this penthouse & highly recommend this accomodation.

“Fabulous Apartment with Wonderful Views”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2013

This was our second stay in Aphrodite Hills but our first in the Penthouse Apartment - a truly wonderful apartment which met all our needs and provided a relaxing holiday environment. The apartment is extremely well equipped and in a great location overlooking the ocean, the multiple balconies provide shaded areas for quiet reading, or full sun, all with loungers or comfy padded sofas. The apartment is huge and very well laid out, in the morning we had breakfast on the main balcony, overlooking the ocean - there are dining tables on the main terrace and on the smaller front balcony, which is great for later in the day as the sun moves and it becomes slightly shaded - great for a cooler setting, the gas bbq is also on this balcony. All the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of wardrobe space. The water pressure in the bathrooms was good. The kitchen is fully-fitted with all your home-from-home essentials, good quality large fridge/freezer and washing machine (which is essential if you are playing tennis on clay!), the filtered drinking water tap was a useful addition. The apartment is a short walk (5 mins) from the main Village Square, tennis courts and golf. All of which I thoroughly recommend, the coaching pro's are great. We love Aphrodite Hills and staying in the Penthouse Apartment only added to the enjoyment of our holiday.

Aphrodite Hills is located around 20 mins transfer time by car from Paphos airport but don't be alarmed by potential aircraft noise there isn't much traffic and what there is you hardly notice. The site itself is very easy to find and you will be met by someone who will escort you to the property and show you where everything is. The villa is extremely comfortable with a large open plan lounge diner and well equipped kitchen. Lounge includes a TV with a mix of local and news channels but if you really need a Sky Sports fix you can always head for the on-site Anoi Bar which screens major sporting events. There are three good sized bedrooms and ample bathrooms and ensuites, all spotless and immaculate. There are also balcony areas off most rooms, one of which includes a hot tub, another a gas barbeque and a further one with a an outside sitting area for al fresco dining. The villa includes a parking space and a car is by no means necessary but it does extend your range a bit and enables you to visit the rest of the island. Cheaper car hire at Paphos is often off airport, we used Atlas Choice which was OK but watch the fuel policy and ensure you return it as instructed as we witnessed a couple of people having to pay extra or having to top up the tank. Back to Aphrodite Hills. We found a couple of pools and I don't recall being unable to find a sunbed, pools were well used but neither noisy nor crowded but note the large pool does have a 1.8m depth marking at one end but it's only actually around 1.5m. Pools were cleaned daily and always spotless. There is a golf course on site, we didn't use it, I think the green fees are fairly high and it certainly looks like a challenging round, particularly in 30 degrees of heat! If you are feeling really energetic there is the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy - also on site - with an unsurprisingly high level of available daytime court time in these temperatures. There is also a spa at the hotel, a number of on site restaurants (we tried the Anoi Bar, the Italian and the Kebabs. You can hire segways to ride around the site, there is a small supermarket for essentials, I also spotted a children's play area and small football pitch and basketball cage near the Italian restaurant. Also worth a visit is the Haagen Daas shop - need I say more! The villa had plenty of reading material if you run out of books, DVDs to watch (even personally rated by the owners which is a nice touch) and a few board games as well as loads of maps and travel guides. The air con is in all rooms and operated via the key fob (so when you go out you don't accidentally leave it on). There are mozzie screens but in early July we experienced no mosquito problems at all, they are usually more active a bit earlier in the season in Cyprus. There is Wi-Fi if you need to keep in touch - there was some slight confusion whether this is included in the price or not. We had free access for four days and then it stopped and we would have needed to purchase a voucher for €25 (that's for a week) but we didn't bother in the end but it's not a particularly expensive add on if you need it. If you like a walk (or even a run) you can follow the road to the resort exit and take the path adjacent to the road on the right all the way to Aphrodite's rock. A lovely run (as long as you do it very early in the morning) or walk any time of day. The beach at Aphrodite's Rock is very pebbly and the sea is calmer on the far side in the bay. There is a small beach supermarket on the opposite side of the road and there is a tunnel under the road for safe access (also offers some cool relief from the sun). We also went to a beach at Pissouri which was sandy, gently shelving and great for a swim in the sea. Further afield, Pissouri has a large supermarket and shops/ restaurants and Kouklia has some lovely restaurants, I can't recall the name of them but we had stifado, kleftiko, souvlaki, moussaka, swordfish at several: all local dishes and cooked to perfection. Local beers and wine available. Driving is easy in Cyprus, same as here at home. Villa owners provided lots of pre-holiday information and were very helpful, we had a minor problem with the air con (the magnet fell off our key fob) but it was sorted quickly by the guys on site. A final word if you haven't been to Cyprus before - Paphos is worth a visit for the historical sites and Troodos but you can do as much or as little as you like here. This is Cyprus so it does get pretty hot, 30 degrees was common by midday so you need to bear that in mind when out and about. All in all, fabulous property with everything you need. Highly recommended for a family holiday.

“Relaxing break”

Reviewed 11 May 2013

We rented the penthouse for 5 nights and had such a relaxing break. This is unusual since we have 3 boys 6, 4 and 1 but the property was so spacious and well equipped and just a short walk from the swimming pool so everyone was happy! We used the kids club on the complex for the mornings which was very good and the older 2 loved it. We will return soon!

“luxury apartment with amazing sea views”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2012

Just back from an amazing week at the penthouse at Aphrodite Hills. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The views from the balconies are spectacular, particularly while sipping a sun-downer in the hot tub. Great restaurants on the resort and plenty of space round the pool to laze the day away. I would recommend coming here with family and/or friends for the ultimate get away. Can't wait to return and start exploring Cyprus.

“another relaxing chillout at the superb santorini penthouse”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2012

Just returned from our second visit this year. Had a wonderful week - the penthouse was amazing as usual and the weather was in the 30s everyday. Enjoyed plenty of barbies on the rear terrace and long relaxed evenings with a cool drink on the front verranda - with the fatastic sea views, watching the amazing sunsets, then soaked in the hot tub on the master bedroom terrace after dark. Highly recommend the Anoi bar for drinks/cocktails and also the Italian restaurant in the village square. The choice and quality of the sunday lunch international buffet in the golf club was also impressive. The staff are all very friendly and approachable throughout the resort. will definitely be returning in the future.
