“Great apartment with great facilities”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2013

We were an extended family of 4 adults & 2 teens. The apartment had 3 double bedrooms, two rooms with double beds, one en-suite and a twin room, all aircon. There is a family bathroom, open plan lounge, kitchen and a large veranda with table, umbrella and 6 chairs. The apartment was well appointed for self catering with a large USA style fridge freezer, cooker and all utensils. The complex is small and self contained with a very nice pool and sunbeds, mattresses and umbrellas supplied; nice and peaceful in the evenings and is situated within easy walking distance of the Paphos nightlife. We enjoyed our stay and booking, collection of keys etc was very easy. Thanks.

“Lovely apartment”

We stayed at Aphrodite Gardens for 10 nights as a family of four adults. We were all very impressed with the size and style of the apartment, we opted for a 3 bedroom so we would have a bathroom each per couple. Bedrooms good and air con worked great. Lovely decor throughout and great to have such a large fridge / freezer. If I could make just one comment it would have been nice to have had a spare set of bath towels in the apartment. There was a washing machine so it just ment washing the towels through in the morning for them to be dry before using them in the evening. The pool and grounds were very clean and we liked the peacefulness of the pool area during the day. Never more than 6 others around the pool at any point in the day. There was always plenty of room for our sunloungers. Walked to the Harbour area every night (10 min walk) for restaurants and bars. Fabulous choice of restaurants, there are so many I could recommend. For something different take a taxi up to Paphos old town and visit Muse. Lovely place for food and drink and the views are spectacular. Overall a great base and excellent holiday had by all.

“Wonderful spacious apartment within easy reach of Harbour”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2013

We had a wonderful time and the apartment was as advertised. As it was early in the season we had the pool to ourselves for our evening swim each day. Would highly recommend this apartment if there are 4 or more of you. We walked to the Tombs of the Kings in about 25 minutes and walked back into town via the coastal path. The mosaics by the harbour are also worth a visit. If you leave the apartment and go the right on the main road, within a fairly short walk you will see a track over the hill by some archaeology, take this path and you will find further caves and tombs down some steps, this also brings you out onto the parallel road, turn left and you will find the 'tissue tree'. The quickest way to the harbour is to turn right onto the main road and cross at the first crossing, turn left and more or less follow the road, when you see Phaphos Aquarium go to it as it is now a mini mall and on the other side is the harbour promenade. We hired a car for 2 days and went into the Troodos mountains and Agios Georgious, both well worth a visit,. There is so much to see and do, there is a drawer full of ideas in the lounge. Our only disappointment was that the water parks weren't open while we were there, They should open on 1st May

Lovely apartment, very well furnished and maintained. Felt like a real home from home. The complex itself is very attractive, with the swimming pool perfectly set and never crowded. Kato Paphos and the harbour was just 15 minutes walk away, so a perfect location. Highly recommend the apartmernt and the very helpful owners.

First time we'd been to Cyprus....not disappointed in the least and to stay somewhere that had just about everything made our holiday even more memorable. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard, it's clean, comfortable and very convenient. Only a short walk takes you down to the many bars and cafe's, nightclubs and shops plus of course the beautiful harbour I can honestly recommend staying at The Aphrodite Gardens to anyone it's like home from home......Wonderful!!

“Well equipped apartment on small, friendly complex.”

Very helpful owners who went the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Chris & Brian ,the friendly local representatives, live on the complex and are problem solvers and information suppliers supreme. The harbour, sea front, shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance of the complex and a 10 minute walk will take you to the nearest local bus stop. Best thing about the holiday was the large balcony which had sunshine from early morning until sundown.

Apartment was well appointed, comfortable and short of nothing . Very clean. Large TV, handy air conditioning for hot evenings. Owners were delightful with great help from their representatives who live on same complex nothing was too much trouble we had a few niggles with electricity and TV but they sorted it straight away. The complex is beautiful. It is near a busy road but you got used to the noise. Short walk into Paphos centre and harbour. Good supermarket near front opposite Debenhams.
