Getting around

The local town of Antequera is 10-15 minutes by car and we provide excellent directions in our Information Book. There are also 3 bars/restaurants and 2 small shops at the top of the road by the motorway junction that you can take a long stroll to or drive there in 2-3 minutes The local train station is 10 minutes away by car with free parking and you can get the train there to Seville, Granada, El Chorro or Malaga very easily. In Antequera town there is a fantastic Tourist 'Hop On Hop Off ' bus/train that goes all around the town with 11 stops for only €8 for a 24-hour ticket. You can stop and see the Bull Ring the stunning castle and the famous World Heritage 'Dolmens'. It runs every day of the week and is great fun!

Interaction with guest

We live in the local town nearby and will either meet and greet you personally with the keys and show you around depending on your arrival time or leave keys for you in a secure location when you arrive. We can offer lots of tips and advice plus we also provide a full detailed information book in the villa. A food and drinks Welcome Pack (optional) provided at cost price.

“Formidable”

“ANDALUCIAN HAVEN”

This was our second visit, this we brought our friends to enjoy the tranquility and sunshine. We all relaxed into the Spanish lifestyle of lazy days by the pool, long lunches and late night sat around the barbeque, within half an hour of arrival. The journey from the airport took around 40 mins and was well signposted. The welcome pack gave us time to settle in before doing a big shop the next day in the charming town of Antequera, a trip of about 15 mins, where we found all the shopping we could ever need, including Aldi and Lidl. Also in the town are many bars serving tapas, ice cream parlours and excellent restaurants. On the way back we called in at one of the three hotels at our junction, for a coffee and use the free Wi Fi, or weefee as the locals pronounce it. We thought we would miss the internet coverage, but its absence adds to the feeling of escaping the ratrace at home. Although we spent most of our time at the villas, we did venture to visit the Alhambra in Granada (stunning!) and a treat for the kids - a day at the water park in Torremolinos. We will come again and our friends have vowed to return with other members of their family. A great place for two families or one huge one to stay and relax. A part of Spain as yet unspoilt by mass tourism but stiill with all life's nessecities.

“Gave us everything and more for a complete wind down and chill out.”

If you want to "get away from it all" in an idyllic rural setting and yet within easy reach of civilisation if you want it then this is the place. Beautifully appointed traditional finca with large pool and extensive outside entertaining and barbeque area. If you want beaches crowded with tourists and English pubs then this is not for you!! EXCELLENT.

“Fantastic Holiday”

This has got to be one of the best holidays we have taken. The villa was lovely and had everything we could want for a relaxing holiday. The children didn't come out of the pool the whole time we were there and we are going to book for next year with friends.
