Description

Beautifully modernised, yet quaint and spacious apartment in the historic and picturesque James Street in Anstruther.

A complimentary welcome pack and a selection of personal toiletries awaits you on arrival. FREE UNLIMITED WIFI and BT Vision.

The apartment sleeps six and comprises of: One large family bedroom with double bed and bunk beds. One double bedroom. Large power shower room/bathroom and spacious open plan kitchen/dining and living area.

Situated just a five minute walk from both Anstruther and Cellardyke harbours as well as the 'famous chippy' and all other local amenities including a wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants and is only a 3 minute walk from the Michelin star restaurant "The Cellar" which is highly recommended.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a stunning building dating back to the 1850's and has recently undergone a full refurbishment. It has its own entry door which is large enough to allow access for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc. Underfloor heating throughout the apartment. Free on street parking.

There are many golf courses in the area and St Andrews is only a 15 minute drive away. The apartment is very child friendly and is equipped with a travel cot, high chair and steriliser, which are all available free of charge on request.

Getting around

There are many great bus services from Anstruther direct to St Andrews/Edinburgh/Dundee. The coastal villages of Crail/Pittenweem and Kingsbarns are all recommneded and can be reached in 15 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by car.

“Superb Holiday Apartment!”

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely apartment. It felt warm and welcoming on arrival and is really well equipped. The location is great, very close to the sea front and excellent for exploring the nearby villages and towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

First family break with my new partner and our 4 girls. The apartment was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean and all mod cons! Rooms are lovely and spacious. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. I loved all the quirky wall art!

Stayed here with my Mum and 2 year old son. The property has everything you could possibly need and is spacious and comfortable. It is close to the beach, harbour and shops. There is also a great park just a short walk away which was fab for the wee one. We would definitely come back. The owners were great - even arranging for a forgotten pair of Wellies to be returned to us!

Lovely apartment - really well equipped, in good condition and a short walk from the harbor. Plenty of room for parents and three kids, and the owner is responsive and helpful. The coast is beautiful - lovely weather helped - will definitely be back.

A lovely, relaxing apartment in Cellardyke/Anstruther, the apartment is well equipped with everything you might need making it very homely and relaxing. Everything in the apartment is modern and clean. 5 minute walk from the harbour, ideal for exploring Anstruther and Cellardyke. St Andrews is also really nearby which is definitely worth a visit. Would definitely recommend this apartment!

This is my third time staying in this lovely apartment. It's spacious, modern and has everything you need for a great stay. The location is perfect, amazingly quiet considering its only a 5 minute or so walk to the harbour. Great for walkers - Anstruther to Crail and Crail to Kingsbarns, although this one is dependent on the tides at parts so check it out before you go. We will visit again, Susan is a pleasure to deal with. Very highly recommended

Stayed for 2 nights and was delighted with the apartment. Everything had been taken care of and all we needed was there. Velux blind proved a wee bit of a trial to close but figured it out eventually,some instructions may have helped! Will certainly return,clean,very central and spacious, thanks for sharing it with us.

Our second stay at this lovely apartment. Ideal location and a real home away from home. Spacious and so clean and comfortable. So much to do along this coastline. I could return time after time. The owners are so friendly and approachable. The Waterfront restaurant is a must. And the beaches at nearby Kingsbarns and Elie are outstanding.
