Beautifully modernised, yet quaint and spacious apartment in the historic and picturesque James Street in Anstruther.

A complimentary welcome pack and a selection of personal toiletries awaits you on arrival. FREE UNLIMITED WIFI and BT Vision.

The apartment sleeps six and comprises of: One large family bedroom with double bed and bunk beds. One double bedroom. Large power shower room/bathroom and spacious open plan kitchen/dining and living area.

Situated just a five minute walk from both Anstruther and Cellardyke harbours as well as the 'famous chippy' and all other local amenities including a wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants and is only a 3 minute walk from the Michelin star restaurant "The Cellar" which is highly recommended.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a stunning building dating back to the 1850's and has recently undergone a full refurbishment. It has its own entry door which is large enough to allow access for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc. Underfloor heating throughout the apartment. Free on street parking.

There are many golf courses in the area and St Andrews is only a 15 minute drive away. The apartment is very child friendly and is equipped with a travel cot, high chair and steriliser, which are all available free of charge on request.

Getting around

There are many great bus services from Anstruther direct to St Andrews/Edinburgh/Dundee. The coastal villages of Crail/Pittenweem and Kingsbarns are all recommneded and can be reached in 15 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by car.

Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful stay on James Street. The apartment looked like new and was clean, tidy and practical for our needs. There was an unforeseen plumbing issue during our stay that was dealt with in a professional manner by the landlord. The local Chinese is amazing, the Wee Chippy serve up some smashing king ribs and the kids enjoyed the ice creams from the local shops. Without doubt, we would stay here again. B.

We had a great experience at the Neuk , it was immaculately clean. It had everything we needed & more, especially the things we forgot like tea bags etc it was all there for us. The layout was perfect & my kids loved it. The location was excellent too, just a few minutes walk from Anstruther town. We will definitely be returning soon.
