From the owner

La Pergola is set in the grounds of an extensive property and is totally private and independent .It nestles amid luxurious vegetation just off the road which winds its way from Anacapri to the famous Blue Grotto and is perched on the rockface overlooking the sea and coastline. The shops and restaurants of Anacapri, the Blue Grotto and sea bathing are all within walking distance but if you don't feel like walking the bus will take you to the shops or to the sea in five minutes. The bus stop is practically outside the front gate.The bus service is very efficient on the island. Nearby,within easy walking distance, there are also the famous ruins of the Roman villa of Damecuta, loved and frequented by the emperor Tiberius.

In front of the cottage there is a spacious, shady terrace with stunning sea views with table and chairs for dining outside and loungers for reading,relaxing or enjoying a well earned aperitivo while watching the sun sink into the emerald blue sea. This is a detached one-roomed bungalow, tastefully decorated with enchanting sea views from every window. There is a fully equipped kitchen corner, table and chairs for relaxing or dining. It has its own private entrance from the road, private garden and terraces.

The use of the air conditioning is not included in the rental rate.

The large swimming pool(open form June to mid October) is in another part of the property and is reached by steps and paths through the lush gardens.Sometimes it can be shared by other guests(max 2) who are staying in the other independent holiday rental situated in another part of the extensive grounds.

Why can't I call Candace (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Candace (the owner) a message.

If Candace (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
