Welcome on board our fully renovated boat & breakfast, 'de Dageraad' (Dutch for 'daybreak').

We offer two luxury, 100% smoke-free rooms, both featuring amenities such as floor heating, en suite bathroom, LCD-television, and free Wifi.

Your stay includes the use of a private deck, where you can enjoy your breakfast at daybreak or relax at sundown after a day of sightseeing in the city.

Throughout your visit, we'll be at your disposal for advice and solutions to help make your trip to Amsterdam a memorable, pampered occasion.

Room 1 is situated in the bow of the ship and mirrors the shape of the hull. With its nautical skylights, it features a luxury two-persons bed and is our most characteristic room. Room 2 is slightly roomier than Room 1 and features a double bed that can be separated into two singles to accommodate your needs.

“Excellent place to stay.”

We have just stayed here for three nights and it was amazing. We had a wonderful breakfast each morning brought to us by our friendly, helpful hosts. A lovely fresh continental breakfast to give us a good start to the day. We thought we would stay on a boat as a new experience and are so glad we did. The rooms are lovely, very clean and comfortable beds and the kitchen area is ideal for a chat over a cup of coffee. Would definitely recommend and would stay here if we go to Amsterdam in the future.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sylvia/ Theo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
