“Excellent quirky cottage!”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2017

Lovely little quirky cottage, ideally located! Owner was great and left a little welcome pack for us. Great for the dog although no private garden and parking a bit of a squeeze. Would 100% stay again!

Thank you so much for taking time to review the cottage. We would love to welcome you back.

“Compact home from home in Ambleside.”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2016

Just big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (and a dog). Very clean and well equipped, lovely little welcome pack on arrival. Had no problems, but felt able to contact owners if we had. Great to be able to walk straight into town in the evening or out onto the hills in the day. Would not hesitate to go back.

Many thanks for taking the time to review the cottage. Yes the location of the cottage is perfect with everything on the doorstep. Sounds like you had a great time and would love to welcome you back in the future.

“Cosy”

Reviewed 29 Feb 2016

Beautiful little cottage in the heart of Ambleside. I came here with my partner and our Great Dane. Everything was within walking distance and plenty of other walks easy to access via car. Our Great Dane was a little weary of the stairs as they are wooden and curved but we managed ok and would recommend to other dog owners. The kitchen had everything you need and more. Was lovely and cosy. Had a wonderful stay.

Fantastic, so glad you had a great holiday. The cottage is so handy for all the amenities but yet so private and of course dog owners would not believe how dog friendly Ambleside is!!

“Lovely Stay in the Lakes”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2016

The Coach House is a lovely place to stay very close to Ambleside centre and with car parking hardly needed to get thecar out throughout our break. Small but perfectly formed - very well appointed and cosy. Even had wine and some basic foodstuffs waiting for us ! Would definitely recommend as place to stay

Thank you so much for reviewing our cottage. glad you had an amazing New Year.
