Description

High View is perfectly located to provide easy access to beautiful walks and access the restaurants and shops of Ambleside.

The house is decorated in a contemporary style, with quality furniture and colour-co-ordinated soft furnishings. The sitting room has views to the village and the fells beyond and provides a calm, restful environment. It has central heating and a living flame gas fire in the fireplace to provide a cosy atmosphere in the winter months.

A flat screen television, DVD player and CD/cassette/radio are provided. The kitchen is fitted with Smeg appliances, and there is a full range of cookware, crockery and cutlery. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer on the lower ground floor and a large indoor drying area. Free WiFi is provided in the house.

The master bedroom, on the first floor, has beautiful views over Ambleside towards Loughrigg. It has a queen size bed, plenty of storage space and a TV. A bathroom with full-size bath and shower attachment

“Perfect location for a stay in Ambleside”

High View is the perfect location for a holiday in Ambleside. We found it welcoming, clean and very comfortable. We had the bonus of great weather, so enjoyed many lovely sunny evenings in the garden, taking in the fabulous views of the surrounding hills. Peacefully located just out from the busy village, but a handy (albeit a steep) footpath, a few meters from the house, made an easy access to and from the heart of Ambleside. Thank you for a really great holiday!
