“Fabulous....”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2018

A wonderful stay in this lovely cottage... really comfortable, a home from home with an extra touch of luxury! Owner very helpful, great communication.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your great review, much appreciated to help other travellers who like the extra special touches. Hope to welcome you back another time.

“You will not be disappointed!”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2018

We have just arrived home after a few days in the lakes , we are a family of four and this cottage was great, perfect location in the centre of Ambleside. it has everything you could need and the welcome gift was a lovely touch, great to have TVs in both bedrooms. It is a clean, very modern cosy cottage and the owners are very accommodating and great communication from them. Yes there is road noise in the main bedroom but nothing a pair of earplugs won’t fix! We would highly recommend this cottage and you will not be dissapointed!

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your excellent review, we were pleased to have you stay with us and would welcome you again in the future. Kindest wishes Anita & Pete

“Clean, comfortable and beautiful cottage.”

Perfectly located within easy reach of beautiful walks and amenities! The decor of the cottage was stunning and the kitchen was carefully stocked with all the crockery and utensils you'll need. We'll definitely book it if we visit Ambleside again.

Owner's reply: Thankyou, it was a pleasure to have you stay at our cottage and so pleased you found it very accommodating. Hope to welcome you all back another time.

“Our second visit to a fabulous place!”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2016

Everything you need for a perfect holiday is provided at the Coach House. A lovely welcoming note from the owners along with a bottle of wine and fresh bread from the local bakery. Suitable for all ages. So many amenities on your doorstep: pubs, cafe's, climbing wall, walks, open top bus tour, boating, shops, restaurants etc This was our second stay and I am sure we will be back. Our children aged 12 & 15 love the area and have already asked to return!

Owner's reply: We thank you for taking the time to give our Old Coach House such a fabulous review, it is sometimes difficult to please our 'young ones' but as you experienced there is lots to do come rain or shine, hope to welcome you next year!
