“Great cottage within easy distance of lots of beautiful beaches”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2019

Our family of 5 have enjoyed a great week at this great cottage. It was more spacious than it looked on the photos. Amble itself is within a short distance of lots of attractions and we found loads of really beautiful beaches too. Well worth signing up to English heritage as we have near enough visited enough in this week to warrant the years admission price alone! We found the cottage to be really clean and modern with a lovely welcome from the owners on our arrival... (The jam was delicious :)) we would definitely stay here again.

“Fab week in a fab cottage!”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2018

Our week in Sunflower House was wonderful, helped by the sunshine. The house was so much better than we expected, spacious and clean with all we needed for our stay. Having a downstairs toilet was a bonus. The whole house was well presented and comfortable, and very warm. We felt very welcomed by John and his wife (sorry, can't remember her name!) and the milk, jam and wine were a lovely touch. We will definitely be visiting again.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your kind review. Really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again. Best wishes, John and Irene

“Sunflower House, Amble, Northumberland”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2018

This was a great value-for-money stay- well equipped, clean and comfortable with good beds - we found it quiet, and no problem parking on street.John and Irene gave us a kind personal welcome, full of helpful information, and left a wonderful welcome tray with wine, chocolates, and John's homemade jam. Although not one of the most picturesque towns(on first sight), there is so much to explore on foot from here, or a short car journey away.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. We are very pleased that you found Sunflower House so comfortable and welcoming. We hope you return one day. John and Irene
