PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PURPOSE BUILT APARTMENT AND NOT A CONVERTED BEDSIT LIKE MOST OF THE ACCOMMODATION ON THE COMPLEX.
Privately owned, fabulous 100 sq m / 1075 sq ft corner apartment (larger than the standard ones) in a prestigious development with 2 pools, on site restaurant / bar, outside bar / bistro. The apartment is fully air conditioned with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen/diner and a spacious living area. All rooms have balconies and the unique 'Seahorse' design has been developed to ensure maximum sunlight across the two interlinked swimming pools all day.
This prominent complex was completed in 2008 and is situated in a quiet area of Didim known as Yesilkent with local beaches and amenities just a short stroll away. The new 5* Venosa Hotel is also on the Peninuslar and a quick hop on the regular local bus (2 TL / Approx 70p) will see you in the lively cosmopolitan resort of Altinkum (about 3k away) which is popular with British and Turkish holiday makers.
If you are thinking of going in a larger group, my brother also owns an apartment in the same complex that sleeps 6. Just put 102759 in the search box for further details.

The Turkish Aegean Coast region
Beautiful warm clear blue sea with many interesting and secluded bays make up the Aegean coast.
The temperature is mainly warm and sunny throughout the Spring and Autumn and very hot in the Summer months especially in July and August.
There are two local golf courses planned for the future and the nearest one at present can be found in Bodrum.
Yesilkent is a quiet peninsular outside of the main town with small local beaches, a few local restaurants and shops to choose from.
Altinkum (10 minutes away) means 'Golden Sands' in Turkish and refers to the large sweeping bay in Altinkum. There are many bars and restaurants to be found along the pedestrianised promenade and a large open air nightclubs. Many restaurants provide a free pick up and drop off service to Yesilkent and surrounding areas and there is also a dolmus / local bus every 10 or 15 mins for 2 TL (around 70p).
There are plenty of places to visit and explore including the famous Ephesus, Miletus, Priene, Pamukkale (cotton candy castle) Bafa lake national park, Apollo temple, Roman ruins, boat/gullet trips around the bays or even a trip to Greece as Kos is nearby. The largest water park in Turkey (in Kusadasi) is 1 hour away and a smaller local one is about 10 / 15 minutes drive or served by a local bus.
The nearby marina was completed in 2009, there is a regular Saturday market where you're have to have your best negotiation skills tuned into the max but beware, they can be VERY pushy so we generally just use for the fruit & veg! There is also a daily night Market in Mavisehir which we much prefer as they're not so pushy and it is cheaper too. They have many restaurants there where you can watch the sunset and you can get here by bus but would recommend a taxi back as the late return journey goes around the houses.
Large supermarkets and a fairground all accessible by bus and water sports can be found in many of the local bays. In fact we have a friend locally that has a small boat and is happy to take take people out.

i stayed in this apartment for 11 nites in july and can honestly say its one of the nicest places i have stayed in it has everything in it u can think off it is beatuifully decorated and very clean to mme five star . The complex itself is really clean and the resturant and bar is staff are really friendly .The food is beautiful to .The reception staff are not so friendly or helpful i would recommed just booking direct with the owners as there were alot of complaints about the hotel side of things but as for my stay i give it 100% 10 out of 10

Stayed here for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time, the apartment has everything you need and more. The seahore residences is a very nice place, always clean ,staff friendly and helpful, food was lovely ,thought it was very nice that you could eat round the pool by candlelight at night and prices were reasonable. When you come out of the apartment it is a 100yard walk to the main road where u get on the dolmus into altinkum for about 70p each which takes about 10mins. There is also a supermarket down the road which is a bit cheaper than on site, there is a handy shopping trolley in the aparment on wheeels to carry all the water and pop cause believe me at that time of year you need it constantly. There is aircon in each room and if you have smaller children that won't come out of the pool you can watch them from the balcony.I would definatley recommend this apartment to anyone book private as some on the bottom floor are mega small if you book through seahorse themselves.
