“excellent stay in Altea townhouse”

Reviewed 18 Feb 2016

Situated in the centre of the old town. outstandingly equipped. Everything is brand new and very clean and the asset is the roof terrace with extra kitchen and toilet/shower. the owner is very helpful, so excellent service in that respect. You are close to restaurants and bars and shops and walking distance to boulevard and beach. Absolutely perfect,

Owner's reply: Thank you both for your wonderful review. It was lovely to hear how much you enjoyed your lunchtime BBQ's and star gazing in the evenings on the terrace. A big thank you for taking such great care of our home. We hope to welcome you back on you next visit to Altea.

“Beautiful house, superb location in the Old Town”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2015

I cannot recommend this house highly enough. The owners, Sue & Pete have lovingly restored this town house to the very highest standard. Downstairs is a lovely cosy bedroom and a beautiful bathroom with a huge walk in shower. On the middle floor is a spacious lounge with a dining table and chairs at one end and a lovely very well appointed kitchen. The icing on the cake is the large and most delightful roof terrace, with lovely furniture, a mini kitchen area and a bathroom with a toilet and walk in shower. The whole house is spotless and beautifully cared for. The location of the house is perfect, just steps away from the main square and views across the sea, with a wealth of restaurants and bars to choose from. The owners are on hand to make sure your stay is comfortable and they will also help with information about restaurants and places to visit. Just a few steps from the house is a great bar called AlteArte, owned by the lovely David & Sara, always worth a visit and impossible to walk past on the way home without calling in! We would also recommend Xef Pirata for terrific tapas and La Costera for superb home made food. This is our fourth time in Altea and we have already booked for next year, we wouldn’t stay in any other house, thank you so much Sue & Pete.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your fantastic review. What can we say? September would not be the same without you both . We are proud that you enjoy the house so much and make use of all the available facilities. Our aim has always been to offer guests 100% comfort , relaxation and enjoyment. 2016 will be your fifth stay with us, we are thrilled to welcome you back

“Perfect accommodation in a perfect setting.”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2015

I Would highly recommend this beautiful house in Old Altea. Every effort has been made by Suzanne & Peter to ensure that your stay is comfortable. The Town square caters for all tastes and there are some interesting Artisan shops to browse around. This is perfect if you are looking for something a little bit different.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review of our property, we are so pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay in the house. You did mention to us how much you enjoyed spending time on the terrace and the extra facilities offered there, shower, toilet, outside kitchen and BBQ. Dining under the stars is so relaxing and romantic. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

“great vacations in Altea!”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2015

I spent a lovely week in this beautiful old town house. It was just what i was looking for, great location, in a cute street very spanish style, only 2 streets away from the church where there are a large variety of bars and restaurants to go out at night. Spent my days walking down to the beach, about 6mins away. Overall, the house is very well equipped, and very stylish, having found that great balance between modern and authentic Spanish. One of the highlights definitely is the terrace on the top floor, and the hospitality of the owners, always available to provide tips and very helpful as they speak Spanish fluently. Am already planning to go back!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review of our townhouse and we are so pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and especially the comfort and extras which is offered by our townhouse. Our guests all appreciate the fact that we manage our properties personally and having lived in Altea for 30 years we can offer them the benefits of a wealth of local knowledge and insider tips. We have already received your new booking and we look forward to welcoming you again in December.

“Excellent!!”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2015

Me and my wife Stayed in this amazing house for 3 weeks! The house is newly renovated and is provided with all amenities you can Dream off. The most amazing part of the house is the location in the old town of Altea. You have Everything just around the corner. The beach is just a short walk away (5 Min) We can highly recommend this house and would like to send a big thank you to Sue and Pete for all your support during our stay. Would we like to go back? YES!!!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your 100% positive review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay in the house and it was especially nice to know that you appreciated not only your evenings dining and relaxing on the roof terrace, but also sunbathing and making use of all the facilities including the shower to cool down. It was great that we were able to accommodate the extra members of your family with the additional beds. You were lovely guests and thank you again for taking such good care of the house. We look forward to welcoming you again.

“Excellent Stay”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2015

Sue and Pete could not have been nicer. Sue picked us up from the airport and was very friendly and chatty. The apartment in the centre of the old town was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The roof terrace was a great space to sit and sunbathe and it was well furnished with a table and chairs for alfresco dining and also sun beds for a spot of sunabthing. The location of the apartment was excellent, being surrounded with quality restaurants and a short stroll to the church and square where you could sit and indulge in a bit of people watching.

Owner's reply: Thank you both for your lovely review and we are happy that you enjoyed the house and wonderful terrace so much. We are lucky to have one of the largest and best roof terraces in the old town and we have tried hard to provide our guests with every possible comfort there. Outside kitchen and wet room for cooling off when sunbathing, coupled with designer furniture. A magical place. You were wonderful guests and we hope to see you again in the future.

“Modern luxuries in historic Spain”

Reviewed 9 Dec 2014

An exceptional holiday experience combining a taste of historic Spain with sophisticated modern luxuries. Perfect for two whether you want to spend your day on the sun soaked roof terrace and your evenings enjoying a romantic BBQ whilst only seconds away from small restaurants and bars. A world of its own. We visited in November and enjoyed breakfast and lunch outside and on cooler evenings spent cosy evenings cooking up a storm in the exceptional kitchen and then relaxing on comfortable furniture in front of the log burner. Quaint narrow streets and uphill climbs up many steps, manoeuvring the hire car into parking spaces add to the ambience. You have to give it a try but please check with us and do not book it when we next want to visit! Exceptionally clean, well maintained and exactly as the photographs. Sue and Pete, thank you for a pleasurable experience from initial contact.

“A little piece of heaven”

Reviewed 29 May 2014

A little piece of heaven – we have just returned from a wonderful week at this delightful townhouse. The townhouse is beautifully appointed with everything you could need for a truly relaxing break. Whether you are enjoying a glass of wine on the roof terrace watching the world go by or chilling out in the living room area – it is a really fabulous place to stay. The kitchen is superbly equipped, not that you really need it as you are next to the wonderful square with its bustling cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The beach is a 5 minute walk away where you have another whole array of choices for eating and drinking. I always write balanced reviews and give the good, bad & ugly but I really cannot find a downside to this property, location or its friendly and extremely helpful owners. We will be back again and we have no hesitation recommending this townhouse to other travellers (just maybe not to too many until we have our next visit booked!)

Owner's reply: Thank you for your fabulous review. You were also fabulous guests!! I particularly enjoyed our conversations together. When you booked with us you were very clear that you were looking for a relaxing and chilled holiday, I am so happy that we were able to provide that for you. Its great that you will be returning, see you later in the year!

“Fantastique maison luxueuse dans la vieille ville.”

Reviewed 29 Jan 2014
